Happies today...
Got my house clean. Looks so much better.
Warm weather, windows open. (No sun though)
Did NOT snack on crap at all today!
Gotta treadmill later after dinner.
Happy St Patty's Day! Had a lot of green food today...romaine lettuce, green peppers, broccoli, cucumbers.0 -
My happies for the day: Hubby finally comes home tonight after being gone all week, the weather was warm enough to break out the tank tops today, I got to go for a walk first thing this morning and did 2.36 miles with my daughter.
I had a good green salad for lunch today and stayed under my cals yay.0 -
hmmm lost my post!
well... good job everybody! keep up the good work!0 -
I see everyone seems to be doing quite well..
Hope your workouts are coming easier and you arent struggling as much..
I managed to spend an hour and a half out in that beautiful weather today. I walked 3.711 miles in that amount of time. I originally only planned 2 miles, But i felt soo great, and once i hit 3 miles I felt great.. I wanted to make it to 4 miles but I knew I had things to do before work. I feel amazing after accomplishing that..
I did PRETTY good with my food. i was pluggin my burned calories in when i went to have lunch with my hubby.. hes like you could eat anything, correction now I cant.. thats what i told him.. I wasnt reversing the workout i had just done.. Everyone laughs at me at work.. but they are starting to see the changes..
Today a lady at work says, "you really are thinning out" such a great feeling..0 -
I have been super MIA from both last week and this week--yikes! Unfortunately, I don't have a long time to get this in either... just wanted to say the posts are great on this thread... I love seeing everyone's happy things every day  Great idea, Pink!
I've been working out pretty hard this week (for me), and that is a happy thing!
I will do my best to check-in tomorrow (rest day!), but I want everyone to know YOU ROCK MY BOBBY SOCKS!!!
Happy (early) Friday!0 -
My happies for today: I finishes laying bark down on the walkway, we had a great indulgence-filled St. Pats, and even though I broke my Lenten promise I climbed onto the scale this morning and saw 168.4. Wonderful Thursday, and here's to a great Friday!0
-
Happy thought of the day- even though I celebrated St Patrick's Day at a local Irish Pub (and was a wee bit over my calories) I still got in my walk last night to help mitigate the effect
today and tomorrow will also be challenging food days- today due to a work function but I will drink water and not wine and try my best and tomorrow I have a longer walk planned
Have a great friday everyone!0 -
Good morning, ladies!!! My happy for today, I've gotten through day 5 of Insanity and I'm still loving it!! Also, it''s BEAUTIFUL outside. I cannot wait for quitting time to roll around and my weekend to start!!
Pinky, I don't think I ever responded but, yes, I took before pictures. I've been photo documenting my journey at the beginning of each week so that I can see my transformation. I plan on sending in after pics to the Insanity people so that I can get my shirt!!0 -
Hi, Ladies!!! how's the exercise and water coming??
I'm on day 11 of P90X and I feel SO much better than I did after the first day. I'm really enjoying it so far and I hope to see some great results.
So my happy thoughts for today are:
1. I'm happy it's Friday
2. I'm happy that I'm enjoying P90X
3. I'm happy that I've said no to the chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting that our neighbor brought yesterday.
I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!! :flowerforyou: Spring starts SUNDAY!!!!!!!! :bigsmile:0 -
My happy thoughts for the week.
1. My hard work at the office paid off. I got a promotion this week
2. I was pretty down this morning because I thought the jeans I put on were my "big ones" and they fit again. I got to the office and realized that nope, they were my newest pair "small ones". :blushing:
3. We took one more step towards starting a family by finishing our counselling required to start IVF in April :smooched:
Been a busy week for me and I'm not sure what my weigh in is going to be like on Monday, but the beautfiul weather has remotivated me to get outside. I have about 20 minutes planned in the garden (we still have snow in our yard - about 2-6 inches overall) but am still working to trim back the old foliage on the stuff that needs it in early spring (I did the backyard yesterday so tonight is the front yard) and then am planning on a long 2 hour walk with my hubbie and my puppies. Tomorrow we're going to the Canada Blooms exhibition so I typically go for 5 hours and I walk that whole time (so I'm putting in slow walk, but still 5 hours makes it add up)......
TGIF H20!!!!!0 -
Congratulations on the promotion and the NSV, Pam!! That's great! Good luck with your IVF treatments. Prayerfully, it won't be too long a process for you!!0
-
Congrats on the promotion Pam!! YAY! :drinker:
It's been almost 2yrs since I left Home Depot (and had a job in general) and now I'm going back. I had a phone interview last week and just had my in person interview this afternoon. Took my drug test and once they get the results, I'll be a part cashier. Which is what I started as originally, then went to Head Cashier and eventually Flooring and Decor. I left mostly due to the managers (which are all new but one) and a few associates pinning crap on me. Of course I told them when I put my 2weeks notice in it was due to my hubbys' job, which was partially true. So I left on good terms. Problem is working nights and weekends again, after having those free for 2yrs, it's gonna be hard to adjust to again. So if you don't see me often, you'll know why.. Enough rambling, hope you all have a good week!0 -
I've been sort of absent this week - it's our spring break here, so picked up extra hours at work. Joy... BUT it's an active job, so more calories burned!
Looks like everyone is doing awesome!! And I want to say THANK YOU for the motivation this group provides... off to kick my butt off this couch and away from the computer... workout time!0 -
Hope everyone's having a good day! Yay on the job news... that's great!
My happies for the day..
1) It's Friday.. that's always good!
2) My hubby was home again today and made supper for us!!!!
3) I treated myself to a cupcake today and still stayed under my calories!!!!
Happy almost spring!!! Can't wait till it really warms up so I can buy some more new clothes that fit my new body!
Oh, and one more.. the snow is finally gone today from my front yard!!! Yes, I still had some as of this morning, and this evening.. it's gone! Good riddance!!!!!0 -
Thank God Friday is OVER!
What a busy day at work!
My happys.....
1) Made it through my shift in 1 piece...al people breathing upon punching out! LOL
2) Another day...no crap eating!

April, congrats on being down! You've got your momentum going now.
Bru, yay! 6 minutes is a BIG difference. Enjoy the Chinese food.
My Friday happy list:
1) visited the Reagan Presidential Library and really enjoyed it. My favorite part was walking through Air Force One and seeing a beam that was a part of Ground Zero.
2) ate another green velvet cupcake. Bad for my food log, but it is my favorite red velvet cupcake ever, so I enjoyed that rascal!
3) it rained cats and dogs last night and listening to the sounds was just wonderful
Happy Saturday everyone! Looking forward to seeing lots of happiness.0 -
Wow! We are having the best early spring weather here in Michigan today! Good enough that I just finished my training run and for the first time ever I ran seven miles.. yes, the WHOLE seven miles!!!! So I love how my ticker is different and well over the halfway point now, it's really neat to see this is how far I've come in just five short weeks!
My happies for the day...
1) My seven mile training run was awesome and I feel great about my race coming up in 6 weeks!
2) My kids have birthdays this week and tonight we are going to play laser tag with my family. Can't wait to shoot some little munchkins!!!!
3) My best friend just called and I miss her because we never get to see her but we talked and she's awesome and she's proud of me,... and I'm proud of me too! Oh, and my work pants I bought in September are falling off me. Literally I was stepping on the hem this morning!!!!
Have a great weekend everyone!0 -
