She probably is making us all think it's you and then BAM...one of us. LOL...

I got some exercise in so I'm no longer in the red. WOW I ate bad. Seriously never realized I was an emotional eater, but I think I am. Glad I'm conscious of that now and got some in so I can feel proud of myself before the end of the day.

    Love to you all!

Hey girls - how is your Wednesday?!?!?! Had a good day yesterday and hoping to continue it throughout the week. Weighed myself this morning and I'm up again from Monday - TOM sucks. Seriously working hard on kicking some Slimsters butt this week - we gotta win this one!!! Who's with me?!?!?! :indifferent:

I'm with ya! Last week was a complete disgrace and I guess I've earned the disadvantage at the weigh-in. BUT, I'm rocking and rolling with this week's workouts so I'm confident! I upped to the next Level of P90 and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Every inch of me is aching....but it's a good ache!

I got myself back to the gym this week! So things should hopefully be better. Just really need to work on my water.... We can do this! :drinker: Non-weightloss wise my week sucks. My dad is steadily doing worse (he's in a hospice center) and it all just hit me last night. My poor roommate came home to me in a total meltdown. I'm taking Friday off work to do something fun.. I don't know what yet. But I did schedule a mani/pedi/facial at a spa school for Saturday. So looking forward to some relaxing.

So proud of you girly girl!!! You'll kick butt!! I feel it!!

My weigh in was a disgrace too. It was horrible. But after I knew we were all safe, I kinda ate like a PIG this last weekend. I didn't feel guilty at all but now I hate myself for it because I hit 178.2 this morning and I was at 175 Saturday morning. I know it's TOM, but STILL. So hard to see that plateau weight again and I refuse to plateau again. REFUSE!!!!!! LOL

Drink away little lady!! :drinker: I'm so sorry to hear about your dad!! You look so young, so I assume he is too... very sad. Sorry it's hitting you hard right now and if you need a friend, we're always here to listen. Friday will be well deserved for sure. Sounds like a great time for Saturday as well. I have a feeling we're all going to do better this week and come Monday, we're going to be very proud of a very good weigh in. We can do this!!! :flowerforyou:

Once you get in the habit of drinking water, it comes naturally. I honestly drink nothing but 2 cups of coffee in the morning and water the rest of the day. On average I drink about 11 cups, but when I work out it's more like 15 cups. DRINK UP! :drinker: I'm also sorry to hear about your dad, I can't even begin to imagine how you feel. *praying* Friday should be a good time for you to unwind, hope you find something fun to do. And, uh, I'm super jealous about the spa day...... :grumble:

Thanks you guys. My dad is the youngest person in his hospice center, 60. He had a really good day yesterday and called me very happy. He had to let me know he is going to be a movie star, “going out with a bang!” Apparently a film crew was at the center and asked him to be on camera for about a minute to talk about the place. My dad is thinking it may be a huge Hollywood production that Spielberg may pick up. I talked to his nurse after and they are taping something for a charity dinner they are having. My dad loved being a star and turned his 1 minute into 25 minutes. I’m sort of excited I’ll get a copy of it.
It is going to be a long day for me. Work both jobs with only 30 minutes in between to drive from one to the other. Can't wait for my day off tomorrow. So far I'm planning on sleeping in, going to the gym and the zoo if the weather cooperates.

@mszSHOGAN So proud of you for kicking it to the next level. What is P90 like? It looks kind of intimidating to me, but I was thinking of giving it a try.

@irishgirl I'm sure you'll kick TOM's *kitten* this week! You've been working really hard.

Heather - I'm doing the original P90 and so far I'm happy with it. Level I-II was kinda slow, so I bumped up to Level III-IV after 2 weeks and MAN IS IT HARDER! :noway: I can't even imagine what level V-VI will be like, let alone P90X!!!!!! My chiro has it and said I can borrow it when I finish P90, IDK if I want to though.....:indifferent:

How much space do you need to actually do it? I only have a DVD player in my bedroom... maybe I'll look for it on ebay or something

I'd say you need a fair amount of space, there are lunges involved that obviously have you covering a decent area.

My problem with videos is I get so bored. I have a terrible TERRIBLE attention span. I worry if I ever were to invest in the P90 videos, etc I would lose interest. But I could be wrong!!

Pulled my left calf muscle sometime yesterday and when I worked out last night it hurt but was tollerable. It's killing today!! So I'm going to rest it today and maybe find a video on my instant Netflix and hope for the best. Lifted hand weights and did a few exercises with them last night- elliptical and ran. I burned off over 1,000 cals - was so happy. Whew!!! Hoping if I drink a ton of water it will show on the scale tomorrow and Monday for my weigh ins. :drinker: Happy weekend everyone!!!

A friend actually let me borrow the P90 DVDs, she got sick of doing them after about 2 months. I expect I will also at some point, but for now they're still challenging so I'm going to continue as long as I can. Sorry about your calf but WTG working through it!

My brother-in-law has p90x that he has never used and said he would loan me. I would just need to do a bunch of unpacking to have room to do it. Who knows when I'll get to that.

I am kind of worried weighed myself today and I am exactly the same weight I was on Monday. I did weigh myself after breakfast so maybe I am actually 0.1 pound down. :frown: Any tips for the weekend?

Sorry about your calf irish. Advil/Ibruprophan (so did not spell that right!) Usually works well for pulled muscles.

    Have a great weekend everyone!

I have laughed both times you guys mentioned my calf. I grew up on a farm so maybe that's why? Moooooo. I do feel like a big cow this week so maybe that's why I instantly am thinking "moo". :noway:

Tips for this weekend - eat well, drink a ton of water...before I weigh in on Mondays, I am always eating light for supper the night before. We all weigh in tomorrow for the other thing, right? I will be up in weight this week in that. So much for that!!! Booo!

This is really bad, but have you ever heard of someone going on birth control, like IUD to stop their TOM? I don't need bc, but I have heard of this lately...gonna research it. I would love something to minimize it, being the last 3 years it has been 7-10 days and twice as bad as it ever used to be. Another perk of being 35? Hmm... :grumble: Hope that's not TMI, but I'm curious.

For TOM I was put on the pill at 13 to regulate and shorten my period. At the time I was getting it for 10 days and then not have it for 10 days. The pill helped shorten it, minimize cramps and regulate it to once a month. I heard the nuva ring works really great. Avoid the depo shot. I was on it for a year. Had my period for a month straight and then it went away completely. Sounds nice, but I went off of it after my nutritionist told me it was nearly impossible to lose weight on it. I have been off it for almost 11 months now and still don't get my period. I've read it can take over a year to get back to normal and my doctor said I was still adjusting to getting off of it...still worries me. For IUD my doc said it can make your period more irregular. Well, that's enough of my TMI!

Don't fret, I worked mine off too and only got 1.5 pounds! I weighed in on Sat (before mynot-so-healthy eating) and was also at the same weight). So I really feel like all my hard work through the week was in vain! Oh well, gotta start chugging for this week......and hope I'm around for next week! :ohwell:

You know...I am really, really feeling the loss this week though. Before I went on my vaca and ruined my cals with the Twins game, I weighed at 174.8 one morning. And I feel thinner now than I did then...so all the running last week and dvds must have helped me lose a lot of inches. I will measure myself maybe later in the week. So anyhow, I am hoping and praying I see that number.

Easter is Sunday. Salty ham, etc. Would be awesome if we could all weigh in Sunday morning as an Easter treat from Kim....

How the hell does HealthyMom do that! :grumble: So if we don't win.... Does that means we lose a player and one of our players are traded out? That would leave 1 person vs the world! Am I the only one that noticed that? Or hopefully, I'm figuring that out wrong. Who'd want to be a team of 1? :noway:

I'm very proud of our comeback this week. However, I think we should get an elimination free week because Skinnyby29 had to drop out.

I missed that she dropped out.....

And I like the idea of weighing in BEFORE we eat Easter dinner!

She dropped out? Ohhh, that is sad. I really, really like Courtney and she's a ton of fun. Hopefully things will look up for her very soon.

Well, as rules applied before, wouldn't that mean another player is safe this week and we just go by who lost the most gets the advantage? I hope so - cause if we did lose this week, that would bite the big one.

No, we will switch players...so someone from their team goes to ours and someone from ours goes to theirs. I'm interested to know who!! GULP!! Hope there won't be hard feelings since we all really like our teammates. We're like sisters over here - LOL  It would be like finding out you were switched at birth and having to start over with a new family - one that isn't as cool as the one you came from - LOL :glasses:  :smokin:

Technically, they're shouldn't be an elimination. I mean, there wasn't one when Faith dropped out. But I think the switch should occur regardless - since my .25 disadvantage stuck!

She was technically disqualified at the same time as Faith because she didn't weigh in. I know she had a death and illness in her family.
