What's everyone's "go-to" song that no matter what mood they are in, when this song plays they are ready for the gym?

Mine is - Eminem - "Till I Collapse"

Don't have an actual song, but an artist. For some reason since I was little, I pop in a michael jackson cd and it gets me motivated to either clean or workout. Lol. But when my daughters home we workout to lady gaga :) haha

Queen "Don't Stop Me Now" or ACDC "You Shook Me All Night Long". Both just get me totally pumped up :)
  • Call me crazy but i like the British prog rock of the 70's. Stuff like Yes, ELP, Van der Graaf Genrator, Genesis, Mike Oldfield. Not necessarily a particular song but the adventerous music takes my mind off mundane things like "how far do i want to walk", etc.
  • I don't have a particular artist, but Panic At the Disco's original album has a few songs that have great running tempos. (Not a fan of the band, but their tempo gives me a good running pace.) Another artist I listen to while working out is Disturbed (don't judge).

Hmm, I have one in particular that speaks to me. "I'm Every Woman" by Whitney Houston is good for me.
Other fast ones I like are: "Hey Ya" by OutKast and "I Gotta Feeling" by the Black Eyed Peas

There are others that aren't particularly "pumping" fast, but they are great to walk to and fill my heart with inspiration:

"Man in the Mirror" by Michael Jackson
"On My Way" by Phil Collins
    "The Climb" by Miley Cyrus

Now I am no Miley fan, not even close, but I do love that song. It it really inspirational.

    Great question!!

"Till I collapse" has been my go to song since high school days. That song always gets my blood flowing. Another one is Guano Apes "Open your Eyes"

There's a song called "I Believe" by Yolanda Adams. Upbeat, yes, but it's the lyrics that never fail to push me...
    "I believe i can
    I believe i will
I believe i know my dreams are real
    I believe i'll stand
    I believe i'll dance
I believe i'll grow real soon
And that is what i do believe..."

The verses are pretty great, too.

My computer room is close to the living room so I put Pandora on the computer and I choose the Dance station. So there is plenty of beats that keep you moving. David Guetta is one of my many favorites tho. I also have to admit I love Lil Jon...get outta your mind.. just makes you want to get crazy..lol.
  • I typically listen to Dragon Force (not a great band I know). The tempo of their music makes me feel as if I can run 200 mph haha.
For the weight lifting, I prefer As I Lay Dying. :) That stuff gets you lifting fairly well.

I like dirty rap to work out to. Liiiike Shots by LMFAO and Culo (Pitbull?) and Hotel Room Service (Daddy yankee?). Gets me going for some reason. And they say the most ridiculous things so it keeps me entertained

That's right up there at the top of my list too. Love it. Others I like are Dragula by Rob Zombie, Right Now by Van Halen and Burn it To The Ground by Nickelback.
