I LOVE how many egg whites I can eat and still stay under 200 calories, and it's always been my favorite part of an egg, so I'm not missing anything :)

    I had:

half of a whole wheat english muffin w/ peanut butter
1 cup multigrain cheerios w/ milk and 1 large sliced strawberry

    334 calories

    *edited to add calorie count
  • I typically eat greek yogurt with natural peanut butter or I have a bowl of Kashi Go Lean with skim milk.

Not the best but not bad since I have to work on a saturday and I usually don't. This is not a normal breakfast for me. Well oatmeal is but not the chai latte

Starbucks - Perfect Oatmeal With Brown Sugar and Dried Fruit, 1 cup oatmeal
Starbucks - Tazo Chai Tea Latte - Tall - Nonfat Milk, 1 serving(s) (12 fl oz ea.)
  • I'm just finishing up a bowl of Fiber One Raisin cereal with rice milk. I try to get my fruit in during breakfast so I'm about to slice up a grapefruit.

I'm in a hotel so I just had a 3 egg omelet with cheese and mushrooms and hashbrowns, left off the toast and the bagel. I'm sure I'm still looking at greater than 600 calories. Fortunately, I waited till brunch time to eat so it can serve as 2 meals, and there is a large gym...

I acutally eat the same thing every morning. Mainly because I just like it. But I eat eggs with either spinach or avocado in it.

It's a Saturday morning, so it's "French Toast and Scrambled Eggs" day for my son and me. I keep portions down to serving sizes, but it is still a lot of calories.

Most of the people who replied cited breakfasts of 100-300 calories. I always eat 300-400 calories for breakfast, and i will be starving if i dont (and much more likely to want to binge or give in to cravings). I'm new at this, but I dont see how I could ever survive on only 200 calories for one of my main meals of the day. Am I doing something wrong to be eating such large breakfasts? Or am I just too new at this, and will i be able to get by on less than 300 calories with time?

I usually have a Reduced Sugar Quaker instant oatmeal and then have a snack a couple hours later of an apple or a banana or carrots just to keep the "machine" burning those calories. Stick a coffee with milk and Splenda in the mix too.
