That is 833 cal per day every day.
You must rest some days of the week, which mean we will have to do about over 1000 cal 5 day a week.
That is almost 8 miles run every day.
Am I wrong here?

can i ask how long a typical daily workout would be to make this 30,000 challenge? because i do around 400-800 daily but if i do the maths i would still be under that goal and thats doing excessive class's at the gym and a daily walk
what is everyone else doing?0 -
I am posting the previous weeks totals on Monday. I burn 10 cal a min pretty easily. If I hit Body Pump hard I generally burn 730 in 65 min. after that I do an interval walk or the elliptical for 20 to 30 min. once or twice a week I do spring jogs for roughly 3 mi. I also do a weight circuit 3 days a week. Even on my rest days I will walk for 30 to 45 min.0

Sounds like something i could enjoy, generally my exercise comes from sport or HiiT so think i must have a fair chance0

As for what days to post weigh in's, it's up to you all on which day, whichever is best for you. I know not everyone weigh's in weekly, so it doesn't matter what day you choose. As for posting calores, you can either post them daily or post on Monday for the previous week, which is what I will be doing.
I'm glad to have so many takers on this challenge, as it is a challenge, they are usually not meant to be 'easy', I did manage to burn 29, 618 calories from April 25th through May 31at last year. I made the challenge mostly to keep mself in check, but I'm thrilled to have each and every one of you here! :flowerforyou:
Currently, my exercise consists of walking, running and dancing until the pool opens at my in laws, can't wait for summer time! I have a HRM which helps me tremendously, I didn't have one las year and just winged it, so my calories burned last year, may have been much lower or dead on. I was almost 50lbs heavier then, so it may be pretty accurate. I too, walk on my rest days, nothing too much, just 15-30min walk.
I've seen a 25,000cal burn challenge for 30days before, so I figured why not 30,000?! :noway:
I'm not forcing anyone to do this challenge you all are free to stop at any point. I just ask that those who think I'm nuts and unrealistic to not make any rude posts or message me with rude messages.. I know my body and my boundaries. It may be harder for someone so close to their goal to burn this amount and it may not. Know your body and don't push yourself too hard and cause injury. Do what you can, do your best, just do something. Get up and move it

Size has alot to do with this....yesterday I went walking for an hour I worked out with my trainer doing strength training for an hour and I swam laps for an hour...it was my day off...Usually I do an hour in the swimming pool doing laps and then 45-1 hour either doing chalean, or with my personal trainer....
These numbers will come down the more weight I loose, it used to be higher,..but I started at 410 pounds and now am at 350....I know it sounds like a lot0 -
Wow - Slacker Macker here! Only burned 348 calories so far this week! So....now its on to butt kicking time! I gotta figure out that ticker thing too.... hmmmmm......:bigsmile:0
