Day 1 and I have walked 4 miles (10,035 steps).
Here is a link to a pedometer calculator http://www.walk4life.com/customerservice/forms_stepstomiles.aspx
You enter your stride length and how many steps you have on your pedometer and it will give you your mileage.

Typically, I had a rest day yesterday, and only a 5k run planned for today.

so 3.1 miles completed after 2 days. Guess I've got some catching up to do.

Wow! Everyone is doing fantastic. I see I will be the one doing 10 miles + on the last day of the month to get it all in!

    Day 2: 2.25 miles walking - 96.65 to go.

I will try to get in another 2 miles at lunch today, which gets tricky because I only get 30 mintues. I figure I need to get in 3.5 miles each day to get this done on time. I have to say this challenge is inspiring and just what I needed. If I wouldn't have joined the challenge, I would have gladly stayed in bed for another 30 minutes this morning.
