Alright my darlings....we're down to the nitty gritty. We have only a few days left until our FINAL weigh-in window. Here our results from last time...

12.jpg12a.jpg

It is time for the final push. Keep going everyone...just a few days left.

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE: Take your measurements and/or pictures

--Take a look at all that you have accomplished!! Sometimes the scale doesn't give you an accurate picture of how you are progressing. Look at your stats from the beginning and compare them to now. If you are really brave, prepare yourself to post picture (I will).

--Don't have pictures/measurements from the start? Get prepared for the next challenge. The measurements/pictures you take now will become the "before" stats for our new challenge.

Sweet! I made the bottom banner! Granted, it's only because FierceFeline forgot to weigh in, but I'm still grinning from ear to ear.

I just want to say how very much I have enjoyed being part of this challenge and I very much look forward to starting our next one. I am within reach (maybe lol) of meeting my challenge goal, but even if I don't, that's okay because I am feeling so good at finally losing steadily each week. The emotional support and recipe/food/exercise ideas and hints have been most helpful .

I congratulate everyone who has been a part of this journey and I thank you for your support. Often just reading through the threads is very enlightening and motivating. Hope you have enjoyed this experience as much as I have.

Wait... did I just say that I ENJOYED this experience? Paying attention to what I am eating and making exercise a regular part of my routine... I enjoyed that!?! That's the truly amazing thing, yes I have been enjoying the experience, and I continue to do so! And having so many others share my journey is the most amazing thing, it truly is. :flowerforyou:

So bring on the summer! It is very exciting to KNOW that I am going to continue to shrink over the the next 2 1/2 months!

So thanks to you all, and especially, thanks to our fearless leader Vic. You are amazing and we so appreciate you! :flowerforyou:

Ugh...i don't think the scale is going to be my friend this week. Thankfully the tape measure is being very nice. I took pictures on Sat. I don't think my appearance/measurements will change much in that time. Just as long as the weight doesn't go higher, i'll be good. I guess I should probably go workout now.

Bumb, I dont think the scale is being nice to me either. I started the 30 day shred and it looks like I gained weight, we will see . I still have a couple days....

Well...I posted some pictures of me (5 months of progress) on my blog and on MFP http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/258966-the-difference-5-months-can-make . Of course I'll post my 12 week progress pictures here. Just an FYI I'm going to post our "recruitment" thread for the MEAT Me at the Beach challenge on Thursday. I'm excited for the next challenge!

Are we going to still have until Sunday night to weigh in or does this one have to be on Thursday?

Okay. Not sure how this will work but I'll give it a try....I didn't have any "real" before pictures, but I used one that I took on vacation right before I started on MFP.

    Before: March 2011 153 lbs

    IMG_1141.jpg

    After: June 7th, 2001 142 lbs

    IMG_2588-1.jpg

Edit: Tried multiple times to re-size the photos because they are HUGE!! I'm sorry guys. If someone could help me out that would be awesome!

    ***********IMPORTANT....READ ME.....IMPORTANT....READ ME.....IMPORTANT.....READ ME....ok, if I didn't get your attention I don't know what will. *********

Alright my darlings....here is the link to the "Recruitment Thread" for our new challenge. It explains everything in (great) detail. Forgive me...I find myself long-winded some times.

Anywhoo...just post on that thread if you are ready to continue for the rest of the summer. I'm starting to get my list ready now.

My "before" pictures were actually taken 3 weeks into the challenge, but it took a while before I could bring myself to take them.

The last set is a picture of me from December 15th of last year, and June 1st of this year (I started my weight loss journey on January 15th).
