I'm glad my hugs weren't offensive.

I was offended by the first hug. There was food porn involved.

Threads questionning the actions of moderators are also not allowed...but it's staying up here so users involved with the post can read the reasons behind the thread lock. Thanks to all members supporting the moderators too. :flowerforyou:

Does this strike anyone else as crazy? You can't question the actions of a moderator?
They ask you don't question them in public, which I understand or you would have a thread like this for every post/ thread that got locked or disappeared.

Of course you can, but not publicly on the forum. If you have any questions then contact a moderator or Mike and they can try to answer your questions.

I object to the clear bias shown to fluffy bunny huggies over random violence. I may flounce dramatically. If I wasn't so lazy. Or could be bothered. Or cared.

I must use "flounce dramatically" in a sentence today.

Ahh, who cares. There will be other threads, full of controversy and accusations. The fun never stops.

I understand locking threads. I don't think they should be removed however. Personally think a directory of "Locked Threads" should be made and all threads that are locked automatically moved there with the final post of the thread from the moderator who locked it explaining what violations caused the locking. Seems like it would help more with knowing what is ok and what is not ok with the evidence right there to show what was wrong.

But that is just my opinion and this is not my site.

My goal for the day is to use the sentence "where can I get my hands on some floury baps" without getting banned. Or hit. Or hit on.

    What? I fancy a sandwich....

Thats what i say and they have a random section for the message boards, its not like we talking about random stuff in the Fitness and Exercise Category. The site owners need to lighten up!

I think it's the only viable way to moderate a forum unless you have an army of moderators, with an inordinate amount of free time and they are paid.

There will always someone who isn't happy with a decision. There wouldn't be enough hours in the day to address every complaint or gripe fully so a hardcore approach is the only realistic option.

I MISS EVERYTHING! THATS WHAT I GET FOR GOING TO BORING FACEBOOK!
  • i have seen entire forums destroyed by lack of moderation. moderation is very important because people can be so disrespectful from behind the safety of their keyboards.

C'mon! I know which thread you are referring to. You honestly couldn't see that coming?

The Message boards are just like a small slice of the real world. There are certain things you can say, do and joke about with your closest friends, but you can't unleash them on the general public without some form of censorship or retribution.

Not making a judgement either way, but I am not trying to push the envelope either. If you have doubts about whether or not you should bring it up, you probably should bounce it off someone with a little more common sense first.

See how I did that? Got a little minor league dig in there disguised as counselling.
