I'm 19.5-21% body fat. You can see my pics on the picture gallery of my profile.

EDIT: And also on my ticker (the "after" shot)

OK, let's see if this works. I don't have a current bikini shot, but I'll see if I can get one after my spray tan next week :)

Here are some belly dance pix. Last time I had my body fat and lean muscle mass electronically tested (at the chiro), my BF was 18 point something. However, I have since gained some weight, but since I am very active 6 days/week workouts, I'd estimate right now I'm still about 19%. This first pic was taken last year, about the time I was around 18%:

This one was taken recently, about 2 weeks ago, about 19%:

oops, these are huge. How do I make them smaller?

I just have to fan girl. ISIS WINGS?!?!?! OMG. <3<3<3

This is after a soccer match! I'm somewhere between 17% and 20% - scale says 17.9%. I'm 5'7" and about 127 lbs (short legs, long torso and very banana shaped lol)

Was told the same day I took this pic that I'm between 26 and 27%

    I'm 5'8 and weigh 150.

You look much closer to 20% in this pic to me. (Arms/legs, abs) compared to other photos I've seen.

I'm 28% according to the military body fat calculator online. I'm 5'7 and 153 lbs.

You need to take several different tests and take the average. You don't look NEARLY that high compared to other women online who've been tested at 28%. You appear to be in the 20-23% zone at the most, girl.

    I'm an example of skinny-fat.
23% body fat (via DEXA scan), 5'7" and 121 pounds. Eek, muscle, anyone?! :embarassed:

I do not see how there is any possible way unless you are hiding an overhang under that top, and I highly doubt it! LOL

I don't think you can get a very comprehensive guide. Looking at that page you posted, the woman who's 25% body fat, looks nothing like me (26.4%). As most of my fat is on my thighs and bum. So I look much healthier.

Same, I am at 28 but I look like the 25% person because my tummy is pretty flat it is all in my *kitten* and thighs.

    I don't have a way to figure mine out.../equipment.

I remember learning how to use skinfold calipers...that was just embarrassing having your classmates pinch your arm fat :(

Home Body Fat Test gives 23.8%, Military gives 26.9%, I'd guess closer to 30% based on the pictures I'm seeing here--nowhere near as fit as others in the 24-27% range!

    5'7" and 159:

I'll give you two examples in one! How's that for ya

I'll have to do a caliper test, but as per the military calculator, my "before" was 46%, and my "during" is 34%.

Home body fat test from link PP had above put me at 20.5%. I have a very hard time believing I'm anything below 25%. I'd like to see what it would say if it took my waist and height into consideration as well. Maybe I just have incredibly thin arms/legs and a huge belly. lol

I still have yet to buy calipers and measure for sure. Feel free to input on % as I'd like to know what I look like to others (I'm not very objective about myself). I'm 5'11" and 170lbs. This picture is maybe a lb or two heavier than now. Feel free to look at pics on my profile as that shows more from the front.

    A) You do NOT have a huge belly.
    B) I'd guess, by visual, that the 20.5% is pretty close.

<<<<< Just did Bod Pod last night and I am at 25%. I'm 5'7" and weigh 144. My goal is 135, at which I should be around 20% if I maintain most of my muscle.

I calculated about 21% but I am thin. I look like the woman who is at 18% in the picture and she doesn't look thin enough to be 18% to me.
  • I am 165cm (5"5) tall, 58kg (128pounds) and all my measurements using online calculators suggested I was 22%BF and scales said around 24% however I have just had a DEXA scan that says I'm 27.2%BF.

Pretty disappointed considering I've been working hard to exercise and monitor my diet and I don't look like a lot of the pictures of girls listed at this percentage online. DEXA is very accurate though and now I know I need to work harder :)

The physiologist actually said I needed to be eating more and up my protein significantly.

    1359088254818_zps98409cbb.jpg

Very interesting however inaccurate other methods can be.

If a stranger's opinion is of any value to you, you have an amazing body :flowerforyou:. I would not be sad to go to the beach looking like that  - also, very cute swimsuit!
