Want to See What Your Fat REALLY Looks Like!?

I love seeing things like this. I've been to Bodies: The Exhibition once and Body Worlds twice. At Body Worlds they showed how a fat person is just a skinny person trapped by fat. The image I saw showed how the two women had the same size vital organs, and the fat woman just had all hers squished together by the surrounding fat.0

Wow! That is just scary! I am gonna have to print that out too. Looking at that will keep me motivated better than anything else.
Thanks so much for sharing!0 -

if i am not mistaken, the black stuff un the gut is poo.
I don't think your mistaking at all....o.o
To be clear,
It's not all "poo". Poo = food that's been digested and will end up in the large colon for expelling.
Those black spots are food being digested in the small intestines, and processed food in the large intestine.0 -
Thanks for posting, it certainly puts things into perspective!0

The black stuff in the gut is NOT poo, it is air (gas). Look at the lungs, they are also black or air filled. This is typically how gas/air shows up on scans; ie CT, MRI ,etc. Fecal material usually isn't that noticable unless a person has a large amount in their colon and then it has a greyish, freckly (speckled?) appearance to it.
That being said; it's sad to me to see how much fat has accumulated around the organs in the heavier person...fat inside and out So dangerous.0 -
gosh...thanks for this!0
-
Wow- needed this.0

Disturbing, scary, an motivating at the same time. All that fat surrounding the organs in the abdomen just can't be good for you.

I am interested in becoming an MD so I had a opportunity to watch a few surgeries one day. One of the men was pretty overweight and it made the surgeon's job a little more... ummm.. time consuming. He had to burn through all of the fat to get to what he needed to. Fat looks like gelatinous goo.
Edit: Gosh, darn you, grammar!0 -
