  • Morning ladies.

Busy weekend and going to be a pretty busy day. I'll try to get on as much as I can.
Cathy, You look great. I love the new pic!!!
I like the idea of measurements too! I've been meaning to take some, so this would give me the push to actually take some measurements.
I bought a new scale this weekend. So of course its going to be slightly off from the scale I was using before. So...I will take my weight tomorrow and that will be my new official weight. I can tell I'm going to like this scale...lol...I weighed 190.2 this morning...hahaha So maybe I can get under 190.0 by tomorrow. LOL.

Life is getting a little better....had a set back on Saturday....I've discovered that spending time with my twin sister is not healthy for me at this time. Its actually a pretty toxic relationship and right now in my life with all that I am feeling...her presence steals my joy. (we are very competitive and she has a way of making me feel like a failure in the most unique ways.)

Anyways....Water is a high priority for me today. And working out. I haven't worked out in a solid week...I'm feeling slow and sluggish...I completely contribute that to not working out. I gotta get at least a Shred in today...that will make me feel AWESOME and its only 25 mins.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I miss being in the mix with you all....Tomorrow starts a new challenge and WE ARE GONNA ROCK IT! I'm gonna be SEXY!!!!! hahahahhaha

BTW...what are we going to measure? Waist, hips, thighs??? Thoughts?

    Good morning gals!

Cathy, great new picture and you can absolutely see the difference!! Keep it up woman!

Cass, sorry that your sister is bad for you right now but at least you can identify it and know that right now is the time to work on YOU, and when you're able you can try to heal that relationship. Hugs! Congrats on a number you're happy with on your new scale... maybe I should get a new scale  :glasses:

Kristin, I'm glad you're seeming happy! Can't wait for the new challenge. I think we should all take measurements!

Amy, back on the horse lady. YOU CAN DO IT!!!

Bunny, sounds like a house-full you had!

Hi everyone else too!! My brain isn't its sharpest today.

So I, too, am super super excited about tomorrow's new challenge. And as I said, I think us all doing measurements is a great idea as well! That will be a great motivator for another before / after indicator.
We have another Thanksgiving dinner today, this time at my MIL's place. Fortunately she's as big a health nut as I am so all I'll have to do is avoid the desserts that other people bring and I should be fine. Yesterday though our entire region (half of Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands - if you look it up on a map you'll see it's a pretty big area!!!) had a power-outage. I'm SO glad we did Thanksgiving the day before!! Anyway, we have an electric stove and all of the food we have on-hand is either frozen or totally raw (ie: lentils, rice etc). I guess that's the only down-fall of very whole foods cooking and being one day after a huge feast where the fresh ingredients were all used up!! So we ended up ordering pizza from the 1 place in town that had a generator and a wood fire oven. We actually drove there and it was good the people were still sitting in there. Anyway, I insisted we order 2 smalls rather than 2 meds or larges like DH wanted to so I shared a small pizza with my children. Still not what I wanted to eat last night but there it is! It's just that I missed most of my dance class on Monday, I didn't get to work out on Friday OR on Sunday so I've basically worked out once in the past week AND had Thanksgiving. Not a good combo! My weight isn't suffering too badly but it doesn't FEEL good, you know?

Alright, off to do some living room yoga! I may not get back on so see you all for check-in!!!!!!!!

Okay gals...I have developed a BAD headache over the course of the afternoon and have decided against my best judgement to skip the gym and go home. I KNOW I KNOW...day before weigh-in...bad BAD Kristin!!! **Slap the hands with ruler!** But it's raining and cold and I feel like curling up on the couch...but I will not over-eat...may go over in calories a bit with the lack of exercise calories, but it won't be too bad...I PROMISE. And tomorrow I will for sure get in my normal cardio workout!

So...goodbye for now ladies! If I don't get a chance to post this evening, I will for sure post first thing in the morning with two..."Twenty Somethings Final Weigh In" and the new "Sexy In Six Challenge: Week 1" So look for both!

evening guys....it's almost tuesday    new week new challange....let's get on with it..........
my hair trimmed up now. love it when i get a trim. she said she has a new style already for me when i want something new. normally in the spring i want a change. son didn't sign a contract on his new home. found out VA wouldn't approve it, because of no fire walls between the units. he's bumbed. i look at it as a sign and move one.
i have 600 calories to still eat today and i don't want to because of weigh in. i will eat a snack, nothing with salt that's for sure.
well, time to play a game.

Hello hello everyone! Sounds like people are having a pretty good day, hope Kistin's headache is feeling better. I've had a headache for the last couple of days myself, I think it's sinus, because it's been overcast the last few days. And really hot for this time of year, it was 80 when I left work today! Not that I'm complaining, tomorrow is a high in the 50's.

Breakfast: cinnamon oatmeal w/ 1TBSP raisins and 1TBSP sliced almonds and 1/4 cup skim milk
Snack: Sliced strawberries (5 of them) with 1/2 cup cottage cheese
Lunch: spinach salad w/ onions, mushrooms, tomatoes and a bit of ham and 2TBSP ff ranch dressing
Snack: South Beach protein cereal bar and red & green grapes
Dinner: center cut bnls pork chop, spaghetti squash w butter spray, salt & pepper, and big glass of skim milk.

No exercise today, except for 15 minutes or so of stretching, twisting, bending, and a few jumping jacks to wake myself up this afternoon. The guy I work for was out of the office at a meeting, so I could do it!

    Good Evening (8pm)

Kristen, Are we checking in on two different posts tomorrow? Will you start in them in the morning?

Well, the day is just about over for me. It was a very busy day and I'm tired, ate too many calories (should have planned better) that smoothie was good, but too many cals. for a day I did not exercise. I have a lot of homework to do and doubt I will exercise.

I'm pretty excited about tomorrow. Not the weigh in, but starting the new sexy in six. My plan will be to lose 10 pounds in 6 weeks, which should be easily attainable. I don't know what percentage that is, but will figure it out tomorrow.

    Hey all-
quick check in- been so busy past few days- worked 7hrs friday, then 12hrs sat and sun- plus HUGE bio test tomorrow so a friend and I got together tonight and crammed while our daughters played..Ive been addicted to my scale this week as well and that hasnt helped AT ALL- weight flucuated from 198.6 up to 204!! :noway: So of course Im freaking out and paranoid that I might have gained and put myself back up over 200lbs:sad: And freaking out bc even at 198.6 thats only a .4lb loss for me  Havent had a lot of opportunity to exercise the past 4 days but tomorrow after the test Im going to release some anxiety and workout for a bit. Still in PT, but down to 2 days this week Wed and Fri- gonna see if she will make it just one possibly. Ive also been trying to up my caloric intake as well- and have been stressing over that since I havent been able to exercise really. I doubt I have went over at all, considering I barely reach 1000 cals consumed on most normal days. Maybe this will help - who knows! I am glad to see everyone doing so well- Im excited for the Sexy in Six as well- I may not be so hardcore for the first week though- Im in a rut right now due to stress anxiety and all- just feeling totally overwhelmed! So maybe by week 2 I will get my mojo back

Okay I will check in with you ladies in the AM - have a great evening everyone :flowerforyou:
