Hope it's ok for me to join - I was on a different July Challenge thread, but no one seems to be keeping up with that one. Anyway, I just joined MFP on July 1 so I know my start weight.

I'm really excited to see how much weight the group lost as a whole. I saw the posts coming in and was just amazed at how much everyone was down after only a week.

It is amazing to see. In June we had a total of just 28 people who finished the challenged out of over 100. (By finishing I mean weight in every week). Week 1 we lost 79; week2 - 47' week 3 - 13, week 4 - 51 for a grand total of 192. I think we did really good for such a small group.0

3 lbs lost so far! Really pleased with the results and have done another hard afternoons work in the garden so hoping to continue the trend.

This is my suggestion -
the ones that are interessted- and/or stick through to the end- should probably stick together.. and we could maybe make it a "regular " thing - each month new topic with same goal ? and make it a " closed group " without adding constantly n ew people as we all know out of 150 maybe 50 finish..
so i'm suggesting to think about the option of closing the group and continuing each month with the same group of people that are dedicated. ?0 -

I deleted everyone except one lady. She has outstanding circumstance this week. Everyone else who has not weight in for week 1 or/and given me their starting weights have been deleted. I sent emails and I figured if they did not respond they were not commented to loosing weight.

It does make a difference to me. Other wise I would be wondering if you are tring to join mid stream. This makes it easier for me to keep up with you and your weight. I have no problem changing names or if I have messed up on the weights. All someone has to do is let me know. Thanks.0
