Did cup size reduce

I went from a c cup to a b... with padding Still, now you can see my abs0

Yes I agree the size of cup may go down but the volume of the breast could be about the same or slightly less.
I'd be okay if I lost some when I'm at goal and its a bit more proportioned. I'm in a 40C right now. I had got up to a DD when I was nursing my daughter. Either way they aren't so "perky". Maybe one day I'd get brave to get a lift so I could add a cup size in if I do drop down from a C.0 -
At my heaviest I believe I wore a 42D. Now that I'm 65lbs lighter, I wear a 36DDD.....0
-
I'm a FULL 38DD from like 165-190... when I'm in the 145-160 range I'm a 36DD. Sooo no is my answer lol.
Thank God. I'm a 36DD and still am after a 38lbs loss so I'd like to keep it that way0 -
I was wearing a 36H/38G at my highest weight and now I'm down to a 34FF (from about 30/40 lbs weight loss) - I'm getting there...can't wait for them to shrink more though :-D0
-
I was a 40B at my largest and am now a 36A. I expect when I reach my goal to be a 32AA.
Blah.0 -
considering i am already a B cup I hope not! i have like 60 pounds to lose so with that said if i lose all of my weight then i wont have any boobs! but if i lose all my weight thats a motivator for some new (expensive)bobs! lol!0
-
I really hope this doesn't happen to me. I'm in a D cup now and I'd like to stay there. Otherwise I think I may get implants as my getting to goal gift! LMAO!!! I know my boyfriend wouldn't mind!0
-
For me through 40 lbs. up and down it hasn't changed. The band size has but I am still a D. I really do kind of wish I was a C but nope...still a D.0
-
42 DD to a 36 B, and I am not thrilled ( Have been a C cup since I was 14...I was healthy and fit then), but my back pain is a lot less and I get to wear cute clothes!0
-
I actually do not. When I was super skinny in HS I was a 34DD now that I am 50lbs heavier 36DD, not really a difference for me.0
-
Lord I hope not! lol0
-
Yes cup and band size have been shrinking! Those were the first to go!0
-
Yes.... sadly....
I mean, obviously I want to lose the back fat... but it would be nice to keep most of the cup size...
I'm already 2 inches and a cup size down0 -

I would love to do this! And it's not so much that I want them 'bigger' I just want them to be in their proper place again. And I just don't think I could get a lift, I would have to get a small implant for fullness again.0 -
I was a 42DDD when I weighed my highest (247lbs.), and by the time I took off over 100lbs. (was at 143lbs) I fit into a 36C. I unfortunately gained and it all went straight to the bra - so I'm hoping to lose some boobage again once I get the rest of this weight off.0
-
Ugh I went from a full 36DD to a comfortable 34DD. I wish they would have gone down. Large boobs run in the family so I didn't really think they would. A C-cup would have been nice. I hate how big mine are.0
-
Yes, that is one of the first places I gain and lose weight. My 34 didn't change, only the DD to a D but I'm not unhappy about the smaller girls at all!0
-
Yep... I was a 38D 14 pounds ago (before I started using MFP) and now I'm a 36C. The last time I did this (before baby #2, surgeries, and hormonal issues), I went from 198 pounds to 154... 38D to 34B. (Had a baby.) Then 174 down to 145... 36D to 34(barely)B.0
-
I have gone from a B cup to an A....I'm fine with it. Less to bounce around while exercising.
I feel the same way! Having boobs is so over rated to me! They just get in the way now that I'm done having kids. lol0 -
I'm probably an odd one. I lost 93 lbs so far and only went from a DD to a D. I have maybe another 25-30 lbs to lose.0
-
I have to say that within a months time my DD's are rapidly becoming eligible for D's, I pray we do not get past a C. That was one of the main concerns I talked about in my blog, b/c it was the first place I noticed loss, even before the scale started to put out numbers. I think the smallest I ever remember being is a C cup, but I guess we'll have to wait and see b/c I've never been as small as the size I have as my goal. I guess the long/short of it is yes it is possible to lose a cup size b/c at this rate I will be down a cup size in another month.
I hear ya on that!! I am a 44DDD and am 289 (started 1 month ago at 300!!) and i want to lose some, but id rather stay a D if i can help it!0 -
yes!!!!! and its great!!!!0
-
not so far! but i've only lost 22 so far. i started at DD, still at DD, wouldn't mind to be anything from C - DD i think since i was a C before i ever gained weight, that i won't go smaller than that? i don't know though gl!0
-
I've lost 14 lbs and 6" in the band size - cup size still holding steady at a F. Dang it.
I think if your breasts got bigger as you gained the weight, they are probably mostly fatty tissue, instead of breast tissue, and will probably go down in size as the rest of you does.
As for me, I've always been larger up top, so I dont' expect to go down to a cup size they sell in a normal store. But I sure wish I would. It is expensive to keep replacing bras as I lose weight. I am trying to make due as long as I can, but sports bras especially are costing me a fortune.0 -
If you got bigger up there when you gained, you'll get smaller when you lose.
also keep in mind that a width reduction IS a cupsize reduction in real terms - a 40 D and a 34 D have different sized cups because the 40 d is muuuuuuch wider. Cup size is a *relative* measurement - its like your size around + X inches.
In my case my cup size didn't really change even after gaining 70lbs. I was a D in HS, I expect to be a D when I drop this weight. But I used to be a 32 and now I'm a 36. And my breasts are bigger for sure - the stretch marks I was working on on the sides say so. But the letter on my bra didn't change, just the number.0 -
(I haven't read every response yet) but my understanding is that loss of cup size has some genetic factors. Of course if you get your body fat % way down, that's going to include breasts, but if you're getting to a healthy weight and an average body fat % you're going to keep or lose whatever your genes think you should.
I'm deathly afraid I'll lose all of my breasts. As a big woman I always felt my big breasts were an eye catcher and a bonus. "I may be fat, but I have killer tatas." ... It was something that actually kept me from trying to seriously get the weight off. I've decided that big boobs aren't going to get me anywhere if I die of an obesity-related health problem, so if I lose 'em, I'll get over it, and if I felt like I had to, I'd buy myself new ones. I can't buy a new heart, gallbladder, or lungs. So, I just keep telling myself that I'm making the right choice to get fit, even if I lose my most favorite body part.0 -
Yep! Not sure how much I've lost as I no longer have a working scale, but it's at least 11 lbs and probably more. I went from a 34B to a 32A.0
-
So the band size is the size around..the cup size is actually your boob...so if you lost inches around..you will go down in band size..but cup size is different
36C=34D
You go down in band..but up in cup..unless your boobs increased in size cause of your weight..then you will lose cup size aswell.
I suggest when a great deal of weight is lost..go into a Victoria's Secret..or even Nordstrom..and ask to be measured..its free. NOthing worse than being in a wrong bra size
(I sold lingerie for 5 yrs) :blushing:0 -
YUP I will soon be a -AA....yes I said -...LOLOL0
