    I was terriable yesterday. I am loving this challenge because eating veggies is a true challenge for me and this is making me see I need to really work more on getting in those veggies. Yesterday I had one apple but I am focusing on veggies because I eat fruit most days anyway. Yesterday was just an off day anyways all the way a round. Letting it go. Today is a new day!

    Past couple of days have been good fruit wise

    Now that I'm back - I will commit to at least 4 servings of veggies and 2 fruit per day

    Wednesday: 4 veggie, 2 fruit
    Thursday: 3 veggie, 1.5 fruit

  • Hi everyone I hope you all are dong well with your challenge! ... It hasn't come as easy as I had expected and logging has been hard!! I know I have eaten frutis everyday and veggies either in a salad and in a sandwhich!

    I have to go back and figure out my fruits and veggies.

    I just wanted to share a NSV~ I think this counts! Anyway, I got on my darn scale this morning and....I'm exactly the same as Monday morning...GRrrr! Anyway, the old me would have said ...what's the use and skipped my workout and probably eaten something bad. Anyway, I got my butt to the gym and I actually had my highest burn so far. I burned over 670 calories, which is alot for me. So, on that note~

    I finally found a farmer's market open at the right time. I LOVE farmer's markets! Going to really be able to step it up on my fruits and veggies.

    I have been struggling with this challenge, but I have came close just about everyday with my fruits/veggies. Just not for sure the exact amount.

    That Fresh 52 Farmer's Market me and my mom went to yesterday was very nice. It was smaller than others I'd been to but still nice. I got green seedless grapes, strawberries, peaches, tomatoes, squash, zucchini, and avocado. I'm pretty sure I'll be going back next week.

    I have to say this past three days have being a challenge for me i was eating everything that i have not being eating in years or a very long time maybe because i had so many family members around my son was here (my baby) family from all over.. but my fruit and veggie did not suffer ..I love all the fruits we get in the summer and love to put my veggies on the grill ..I see all my Challenge Buddies are keepin up and you all doing awesome I so happy to be a part of this with you all.

    Total veggies consumed were 23. Fell short but I loved the challenge because I know this is an area I need to work on for sure and will focus on it more now that I really see how short I do fall on veggies. Challenges make me more mindful.

    Well, I totally ended up bombing on the challenge! Was stuck at a conference on Saturday and there was very little healthy to eat, as for yesterday - absolutely NO excuse! We went to brunch, and I won't count the veggies or salsa in the machaca as anything. Was full from that until it was time to eat dinner and won't count the black beans and salsa in the left over Chipotle burrito either. UGH! I like veggies and fruit, but usually steer a little clear of the fruits (due to carbs). Looking forward to this weeks challenge!
