I like all jellies on my sammiches
but I have to go even more specific and say Welch's Grape jelly,
nothin but the best for this kid.
My grandma makes her own sometimes,
Apple, Blueberry, Blackberry, Strawberry jams. They are good too.0 -

Why do I feel like Max is writing a psychology thesis or something on internet conversations?
Jam...unless there's grape jelly around.
Potatoes? Seriously?0 -
Bonus question....What's the difference in jam & jelly?0
-
Jam, preferrably homemade. I am one of those backwards people that goes in the summer to local farms to pick my own fruit, then come home and spend an entire day making jam.
However, if it has to be jelly, I am in the Welch's Grape camp.0 -
Smuckers Strawberry jelly!0

Bonus question....What's the difference in jam & jelly?
Jam is chunky, jelly is well....jelly-like.
Seedless jam is the way to go. Expecially if one has dentures.0 -
I love grape jelly. :bigsmile:0

Bonus question....What's the difference in jam & jelly?
Jam is made from either cutting fruit up, or mashing it and combining with sugar and if needed, pectin. Jelly is made by using all parts of the fruit, putting it in a "jelly bag" and combining juice, sugar and pectin. The final product has no fruit pieces in it....it should be clear (well, minus the color of the juice!)
God, I am such a dork! :bigsmile:0 -
