can't believe no one has said Mix Tapes yet!!!

Or making tapes off of the radio broadcasts instead of buying tapes.

Hell, my first car still had an 8-track player in it.

Labyrinth. The greatest movie EVER, besides The Lost Boys and Legend and the Dark Crystal. =D

Still love Labyrinth! We have the DVD and my kids love it now too. :)

You stayed up late to watch Friday Night Videos!

would this be MTV's "headbangers ball"? I remember watching it and swooning over Bret Micheals and Sebastian Bach. Boy, did they turn out to be trainwrecks or what??? LOL

Nope. It was on regular network TV. It was music videos for those of us who had parent's too cheap to get cable and MTV. LOL!

    Big, big hair!!
    Side pony tail
scrunchies were good for your hair or to tie your T-shirt to the side.
Plastic clips in different colors and shapes to pull T-shirt to side.
Wearing coveralls with just one strap fastened.
    Different colored Keds.
    Pinch folded jeans
    slap bracelets
    colored wire bracelets
    friendship bracelets
    friendship pins
renting movies on VHS at the video store (and wondering why there was a certain room at all those stores where kids couldn't go)
    BETA
    gas .79/gallon at Race Track
    parachute pants
    guess jeans
    THUNDERCATS, THUNDERCATS, THUNDERCATS...HOOOOOOOO!
Plastic lunchboxes with a cartoon character on the front and a matching thermos
    paper folded fortune teller

I could go on and on...what's bad is that a lot of these trends are coming back!! I see students at the high school with pinch folded jeans all the time!
