Do you find really thin/skinny women attractive or a turn of

Just wondering...all you lovely guys and ladies here.
So many women, myself included, try so hard to maintain a good body... Hope I have the body to wear dress like this.

And lately, I'm finding myself wanting to be even thinner than I already am, and dieting accordingly.
I keep seeing all these tiny girls wandering around and their clothes just look so GOOD on them...then I look at me and see yes, a slim girl, but...not slim ENOUGH.
But do you people find these ultra thin girls attractive? Are we just dieting to look too thin and nobody likes it? lol
PS. Be honest. I expect quite a few of you to prefer slightly more curves on a gal, but if some of you really do like the thinner ones, I want honesty even if you think it won't sound good or "supportive of natural women" or something. lol.

I think really skinny people are only super attractice for about 10 minutes, before you start to notice how sickly they look, or how weird(if they have curves)Look on them.
Girl on my dance team, i thought was beautiful and she was terribly skinny. I notice later on how gangly and awequird she looked...

I like a woman with a few curves. Thin is out.

Dang. I'll probably get more hate mail for that comment. LOL!

I know my man prefers some curves - he says it's womanly. i am hour glass figure - bigger hips, smaller waist and although I want to slim down I wouldn't want to change my shape and be a bag of bones

Personally I think clothes not revealing too much flesh look better on a very slim person, (but then they are cut for that) but remove those clothes or put them in more revealing clothes and I think curvier looks better.

Each to their own I guess!

Me: I think a woman is suppose to be curvy. Its healthy to have good hips (makes child bearing easier), and a good bust line.

Sister (lesiban rly wanted me to respond as well) : My sister honestly doesn't care about how big a girl is. She is more interested in certain assest a woman has. *cough cough*

Extremes of either incredibly thin or overweight in my opinion does not look good, it looks unhealthy. I have been very big (17 stone) and small ( under 10 stone) I'm 5ft 8. I am now somewhere in the middle at 12 1/2 stone. Personally I felt more attractive when I was smaller as I had more confidence and felt a lot healthier.
I think most men prefer women who are happy and confident more than just being "skinny" but at the end of the day, the person you are with should love you for who you are not how much you weigh...

Cute dress! IMO, that type of dress looks better on someone not built like a ruler. Every once in awhile you'll see someone like Cameron Diaz or even Madonna in a clingy jersey dress like that and it's not flattering on them. Both women are beautiful and neither one has an ounce of fat on them, but clingy jersey is not their best look. Put someone like Eva Mendes in it and it would be smoking hot!

I seem to always end up with guys who like chubby chicks. Even when I was thin, my bfs tried to fatten me up.

I decided I don't care what they think. I know what I want my body to look and feel like and if it's too fat or too thin then there are plenty of other women out there who fit the bill. ;)

Saying that, confidence is the most attractive feature in a woman - if she feels good then that will show no matter how big ro small she is

Personally I like nice curves on a woman, but ultimately if she is healthy and fit, thats important. If I can see ribs, or there is a huge valley between her shoulder blades, thats probably too thin for my taste.

Anorexic is not attractive at all

ME: Skinny and Slim is most attractive.
BF: Skinny is ill-looking and curvy is sexy.

I think girls tend to think that skinnier looks more attractive, yet guys find curves really sexy. Although someone once told me that whether you're a size 6 or a size 16, if your body is toned and in proportion - yoou will look attractive.

I have a bigger chest, small waist, and big hips. My boyfriend likes my womanly curves but I want them gone (for the most part)!

If that's you in the pic, I'd say you're definitely skinny. If your boyfriend doesn't think you're skinny, I wonder what his definition of skinny is...hmm...

Totally agree! Skinny without muscle tone is no good. Slim/curvy with a bit of muscle definition is my kind of lady!

That was me about 1-2 months ago when I was dedicated to MFP and exercising religiously - although I didn't see any difference in the change of size so I gave up and am now 1stone heavier than my picture (NOW I notice the difference). My BF thinks I was too skinny then and even now but I gotta do what makes ME happy !
  • I prefer a bit of meat on my women. My personal goal is to be a size 6-8, tone my muscles, but keep my curves.

In my opinion, Kim Kardashian is one of the sexiest women alive.
If you look at it from a biological standpoint, men are attracted to hip to waist ratio. So I would say it isn't about thin or curvy, its about proportions. I have seen some thin women who clearly work out and are in shape that look very sexy, and some curvy women who also look like they are in great shape but just have a little more flesh and look just a bit softer and more delicate. I really don't think it matters when everything is said and done, so long as you are happy and confident there will be some man in the world attracted to you for exactly your body the way it is =)
  • My boyfriend has said he prefers curvy but slim girls, he thinks 8 is a bit small but 10-12 is perfect, he loves boobs and bums to match, he loves latino woman like J-Lo and Eva Mendez,

He doesnt find really curvey girls (14+)attractive such as Adel, she is stunning but he doesnt find her body attractive,

He also doesnt find skinny girls like Nicole Ritchi attractive as they are too small

My perfect body would be Beyonce or J-Lo, so i guess that backs up that its being toned that counts not your size, and being in proportion, my boobs match my hips and bum which gives me my bikini confidence

There is definitely a line where someone starts to look too thin and its not attractive. Actually - its not about 'too fat' or 'too thin' - its about looking healthy, which is why the toning comment is so spot on, toned muscle and curves look good on a girl - skin and bones don't.

turn off... depends how far though. Like the lead actress in Black Swan - turn off... basically if I can see a girls shoulder blades or her hip bones WHILE SHE"S STANDING or if her shoulders are so thin, the bone starts to look square - turn offs!

shouldn't{totally} matter what we think, matters what you think. someone will always find something wrong w/ your body no matter how big, small, in-between we are.

honestly, i like very slim, tiny physiques. think twiggy. or perhaps nicole richie back in the day.

    i have a very small frame and also prefer this body type for myself... though if you ask my fiance, i could be a few pounds heavier because i'd be more well-endowed in the chest area >_<;;

I like smaller women i.e. shorter with small frame. I'm not into the whole stick thin body type tho. If her bones are showing then it's a bit too thin for me. I know that there are men who like that...but I'm not one.

    Interesting I read this tonight.

This was actually the decision in my workplace today (I work on a floor with males, only 2 females occupy the whole floor)...

The end result was that most of the males on the floor didn't like Skinny women.... it was noted that those women who lose weight but do no toning just look horrible.

Toned women are the ones that catch their eyes.
