I've got a few more miles to add, and I will do that when I get home. Don't think I"ll hit 100 though. Irene is putting a damper on our weekend, and quite honestly I have been pre-occupied worrying about our place on the beach in Delaware. Nothing I can do about it, but I'm stressed to the max just the same.0

Got my new bike put together and went for a 25 mile ride. I definitely need to get a new seat. I don't know why they even bother selling bikes with seats that no one will ever want to use. They don't come with pedals for that very reason. Oh well.
I am up to 267.37 mi for the month. Even if I don't ride tomorrow, which is not likely to be the case, I will hit my 300 with my commute to work.0 -

Got in 75 miles for the week. That puts me at 270 for August so I will try and get 30 more in to hit 300. Goal was 200 so I'm pretty happy with that. Off to play some softball now.0

I'm just getting stronger & stronger! When I started my weight loss journey this year, I was 297 lbs and could only ride the stationary bike for 4 miles in 60 minutes. Now today, at 253.4 lbs (my last weigh-in), I was able to bike 13.34 miles in 60 minutes! Now that's progress! Look out 15 miles/hour...here I come!
thcri - good news for your biking. You're going to push right through your goal! I may have to bike twice a day to get the job done by Aug 31st; but, I will get it done! I plan on posting my victory results on Aug 31st!0 -
I am now at 621 miles for the month. Little bummed out tonight; was hoping to ride across the State of Washington. However, the rim on the back tire went out today, and I'll have to find a shop somewhere tomorrow that can build me another one. The rim I had apparently was not designed to take 365 pounds of me up 4 and 5% grades. It has been beautiful riding here though. More than likely, I won't make my mileage goals for the month now.0
