Kristin, I really hope your class goes well!!!! I'm also really excited for the next challenge. There's always that good energy that comes from a new challenge, and I think this one will be ending at the right time. So many of us have had difficulties during this challenge and it will be nice to start fresh!!
I am pretty sure I'll go back to teaching once I'm able to reliably keep a schedule. Right now my little guy isn't ready for that and I'm more than happy to wait until it's the right time!

Katy, I agree - how do you do it?!?! So awesome :drinker:

Shanell, good for you!! And just think, it will make your next weigh-in that much better

Well, time to get ready for the gym! I'm going to be so tired tonight... but at least I'll be able to go to bed with a clear conscience - and I will know that my new mission is to wean off of the sugar again. Ugh. But it will work out, just like before! Have a great night everyone!!!

Oh, I'm also going to add my original measurements here so that they're easier for me to find next week. I don't want to have to search back for week 1 and right now it's still in "my topics" but only barely!
    Height- 5'10"
    Upper arm- 12"
    Bust- 41.5"
    Waist- 39"
    Hips- 40.75"
    Thigh- 21"
    Total- 154.25"

Hey girls! Quickly checking in before bed. I weighed myself again...and I usually weigh more later in the day, but I'm back down to that 160.0 pounds like I new I really was, so I adjusted and am going by that number! I also stayed for my Step class and it felt GREAT! So good to get some normalcy back! Next week I will add the ab work back in and then consider starting with weights again. It will be a slow process, but I WILL get there!

Good night my girls! I'll be back in the morning!

Hello all! Katy and Lauryn, great job on those losses! I weighed myself two days ago, and was down 3 pounds, but official weigh in on Tuesday I had added one back. So....

    GREAT Loss Robin!!! :drinker:

Morning everyone!! So I like Kristin, felt like my weigh in yesterday was just not right, I don't know, maybe Tuesdays just aren't my days. But I just weighed in again this morning and it said 155.6 so down 1.2 pounds from last week! yay!! So if its okay with you all I'm going to go with that.

Busy day again today but am running my C25K Week 2: Day 2 Today and will do some ab work maybe too.

    Mealwise:
B: multi grain cheerios, skim milk,
    S: special K bar
L: fiber one oats and chocolate bar (I don't know how much time I will have for lunch since we are working on a group project.
S: jello sugar free fat free snack cup - strawberry
D: leftover brown rice, fiesta veggies and taco meat?

I think this will leave me short still, so I may allow myself some peanut butter toast or something this afternoon. I'm not sure.

I will check back in later ladies, Keep up the good work!!!! :flowerforyou:

Goooood morning! Sadly for me, my weigh-in was accurate :indifferent: But of COURSE it was after the ridiculous full-on WEEK of terrible eating I did!! Yikes. I don't ever want to feel like that again! It sure doesn't help fix anything, right?! And I feel like I'm also in a bit of a recipe slump. Time to go through my cookbooks again I guess, and get some fresh ideas going!

Kristin, YAY!!!! on the 1 lb loss! A whole cube of butter GONE  Good for you girl :drinker: And I'm eager to hear how the class goes tonight!

Yay Robin for your loss too!! That FABULOUS!

AmyLou, how are you liking the C25K?? I'm LOVING it. I am about to finish week 3 but since I've been a keener this week and finishing sooner than usual I'm going to repeat the week 3 schedule for a day or 2. I just LOVE the feeling of FINALLY being able to run a bit without extreme pain in my knees and that stabbing shortness of breath in my lungs! Talk about the importance of not doing too much too soon! I feel like I actually WANT to run and I look so forward to that work out. I'm trying not to get ahead of myself in my mind but I've always wanted to be a runner and now I feel like it's possible. I'm so interested to hear your thoughts on it too!

Cathy, how are things at your house today? I hope you haven't had any more face-offs :flowerforyou:

Lauryn, still riding the high from a great loss??

Cass, hi babe - how are things today??

    Amy, greetings!

    Deb, what's happening today?

Katy, kick butt yet another day girl! You're doing so amazingly well!!!!!!!!

Shanell, Connie, Kerri, Tamm, everyone... HELLO!

I'm still trying to plan my meals for today. The biggest obstacle is that I don't know what's for supper. The curry we had last night was SOOOO good. Maybe something like that again.
Well I'll check back later on. Have a great one ladies!

Lauryn...you are TOO funny!!!!!!!!

Rhiannon...HELLO! I will for sure let you know how my new class goes tonight. I'm not sure what to expect, but it's my FAVORITE instructor that teaches it, so it will be fun!!!!!! Don't worry too much about being up this week...it will come off again very quick I am sure! And I need to go through recipes also...seems like every few months I need to go through things and find some new fabulous meals! I'm right with you on that one. And I think another FAB idea maybe for the next challenge, is sharing a recipe maybe once a week with everyone...that way it will help ALL of us build up our recipe book! I dunno...just a thought!

Cathy...thanks for letting us know you're fine with any title to the new challenge! Here it is again:

Cathy... i happy with whatever, as long as i know where to go....
    Amy... Sixers Holiday Challenge
    Cass...
    Rhiannon... Sixers Holiday Challenge
    Deb...
Katy...Twenty Something Holiday Challenge, Sixers Holiday Challenge

    Connie...
    AmyLou... Sixers Holiday Challenge
    Shanell... Sixers Holiday Challenge
    Tammara...
    Tan...
    Kerridwen..

Well girlies...gotta grab my lunch and get a few things done at my desk, but I'll be back later!

    Hey Ladies!!

Hope everyone has had a great day!!

Pedal - I am LOVING C25K!!! I am only on week 2 but already feel better about starting to run. My only worry is this next week I will be at my Mom's house with no treadmill available and will have to run outside no matter what the temperature and it's been in the 30s there lately!! BRRRR!!! :grumble: But otherwise it is great and I actually look forward to it because running doesn't hurt when I'm doing C25K. I'm glad you like it too!! I actually discovered it through my sister who had her own battle with weight loss (not a big one but she is only 5 foot 2 so it doesn't take much!) but about 5 years ago or so she started running doing programs like this and lost the weight AND she started running marathons! I think she is up to 4 or 5 now. Like you said, trying not to get ahead of myself but wouldn't that be so cool to say you started out barely able to run for any distance without pain and now you're running marathons? Someday!!!

Everyone - I hope today has been good. I was able to stay on track today so I'm happy. Having been feeling great today but think it is just school wearing me down. Thankfully we have all next week off for Thanksgiving and I am headed back to my hometown on Friday. Kind of want to take my scale with me because its the only one I trust for weigh in on Tuesday. And don't worry --I already packed the measuring tape!!

Also - been on here since what? september? and i just discovered the little button on the home page that says "I'm done logging for the day" create report, and when it popped up and said if everyday was like today you would weigh such and such amount in 5 weeks, I about fell out of my chair!!! I know it sounds silly but for it to just straight up tell me that, it was like the biggest inspiration. I looked at it and I though, darn straight I could weigh that in 5 weeks!! Such a cool button. would hate to push it on my bad days though!!!

Alright, off to do homework boooo.....

p.s. did anyone watch Biggest Loser last night? (I DON'T THINK THIS IS REALLY A SPOILER)
I will be honest, I definitely cried when Jillian cried!!

oh and one more thing.....and I cannot believe I'm saying this, but this summer i bought this pair of jeans without trying them on because I *thought* they were the right size. well they were super tight and let's just say I wore them once and then pretty much couldn't even zip them after that.

well....I'm packing for Thanksgiving and found them with the others and thought, hmmm at the risk of ruining a pretty good day, I'm going to see if these fit so i can take them home with me.

    and by golly.....THEY FIT!!!!!

okay, so still a little tight, but they are zipped and buttoned dang it and that hasn't happened in a while for these jeans!!!!!

Thanks for reading!!! I can definitely tell that this is because of inches too and not just pounds so i can't wait to measure on Tuesday!!

    Hi Ladies,

Amy, Wow! Doesn't it feel great to get into those jeans you thought were too tight? What is the C25K?

I choose to workout this morning instead of take my online math test. Then I had a seminar to attend, next I had to pick up paper work, pay, and sign up for another test (each one in a different building and it was freezing out). I finally just got to my test. I didn't do to well, so now I'm wondering about my priorities.

I didn't track my calories today. I have got to get back to doing it again, because I know that is important for me. I am no longer in a good mood.

As far as a name goes. It doesn't really matter to me. It looks like you could go ahead and choose the name now with the amount of votes you have.

Have a good evening and I will have a much better day tomorrow.

    Hey Deb!!

Hang in there!!! :flowerforyou: I feel you on the test aspect, never seems to get up there in my priorities either!!

C25K stands for Couch to 5K. It's a program that helps you start out running slowly, safely, and somewhat easily. I know a few of the ladies on here are doing it right now. Here's a link to the information. (I think it's okay if I post it here??)

    http://www.coolrunning.com/engine/2/2_3/181.shtml

It's been going pretty well for me so far.

1: 1/2 sprouted grain bagel w/ almond butter & a chocolate protein shake
2: 1/2 sprouted grain bagel w/ hummus & alfalfa sprouts
    3: 1 apple
