Is it also worth making a secret FB group for us Slender Sisters ( ? or do you think it will take the emphasis from this thread? Just wondering if it will make things easier to read/catch up on with the ladies that might only come on once a day? any thoughts ladies?:glasses:

I officially weigh in on Sundays (have for about a year or so)... but I jump on the scale a couple times a week, so I'll be sure one of those days is Thursday. I did weigh yesterday and it said 176.6. (Down about .4lb from Sunday).0

I'm not saying that it will happen here, but I know my Mommy Board Playroom got a FB page and now theres only like 4 people who still post on the board. I would hope that wouldn't happen, but you never know... Just throwing the experience of it out there!0 -

A day late But my first Slender Sister Weigh in (weight from yesterday):
8/4/11 168.6 lbs
I don't know how the challenge will go, considering I run, or mostly walk, at the speed of a snail but it sounds like fun! I've just started "jogging" (1/3 jog, 2/3 walk) more regularly recently. 3 days and still going strong0 -
Facebook may be an easier way to share pictures and what not. I'm up for a facebook page if people are interested. I use both FB and MFP regularly (okay, more than regularly) throughout the day!0

My weigh-in today was 162.03 lbs. Was a bit higher than my MFP starting weight. But I had a trip to London with lots of good food in-between so I'm happy with that!0

Hi Laides - I usually weigh in on Thursday but I did this morning so my official weigh in is 203 . . . I am looking forward to the motivation from you all.
Facebook would be great also I am not on much during the day but it would be a great way to see pictures etc.

I have a question. . Is this the only thread we are using? Since I'm using my phone for this, not the easiest. I am for the private facebook too. Im on there somewhat often. And it is easier for posting from phones. I don't mind both or either or.0

Yea I don't think that would happen here either since we all have to be on here to log our food anyway (not to mention I check mfp as much as I do fb)

just joined the fb group! I've been working my butt off at the gym everyday for almost a month and have lost almost 10 pounds, i'm actually starting to see results.
My family decided it was pizza night (one of my weaknesses) so I went out and bought a subway veggie sub instead. I REALLY don't want to mess this up...I must say no....0 -

well, I haven't been doing my best for the last couple of days due to TOM, and today is no exception. I'm pretty much staying within my calories, BUT they are made up of all bad things! Trying to get past these cravings, which usually last for 3 days or so and then I can regain control.

TOM always stinks I think. I always feel crappy for most of the week. I love the picture though, I think we can all totally relate!0 -
HAHA great pic! Keep on going through those TOM girls, its hard but you can do it! I'm going away for the next 5 days, but i will still have mfp on my phone, and possibly be able to access the forums, so please remember to weigh in on thursday and by the time i get back friday night i will have our first loss chart! A friend of mine told me about the 200 sit up program, its a 6 wk course to improve your core muscles and enable you to do 200 sit ups in one go at the end of it!

hey, I'm down to try it!
Why don't we all go on and chit chat a little bit about what our exercise routine CURRENTLY consist of, that way we have an idea at what levels we are looking at, and what are some feasible goals to look towards.
Mine looks like this:
Monday = "Lean and Learn" which is yoga/pilates or other strength training moves, all while listening to my favorite podcast which is called "stuff you should know" - I stretch and do a variety of pilates moves depending on what I feel needs the most work that day. I use the podcast as a way to time my workout...so I must keep working until the episode is complete (or 2 episodes if it's a short one) The podcast also helps me look forward to my work out because it keeps my mimd off of the discomfort.
Tues: 60 minutes of non stop high intensity Zumba!
Wed.- "Lean and Learn"
Thurs.- 60 min Zumba
Friday - "lean and learn"
Sat. - rest day or something fun with the hubby and kids like frisbee.
Sunday. - 60 minutes of Zumba
I've also noticed that lots of people from the original thread haven't yet chimed in. I will go over there and bump the thread to alert them that we have moved over here just in case. In order to fully support one another, it's important that you log in and check with the group (often! Daily! MORE than daily!! Even if you just post a quick 'hello' so we know you are there and 'with us' that would be great. The more talk, the closer we will get, and the more motivated we will become because we don't want to let each other down.
