no chocolate milk for me, but I see that you were talking wine.....Tami...have you tried any of the 2 buck Chucks from Trader Joes? ( acutally it's like 3.29 a bottle now). TJ's wine is soooooooooo good and cheap!

    Kellch---if you have a Trader Joes....try their wine....yummy...

So, I subscribe to Self magazine and in this months issue.......there is a section on page 82 called "Sore No More" About how achy muscles need some TLC sometimes. It gives 3 fixes for feeling worn out.

    Here is the first fix:

The feeling: Pooped. I really pushed myself.

The Fix: Lowfat chocolate milk (8 ounces)

Why it works: A protein and carb combo, it stimulates muscle repair and restocks fuel stores. Guzzle a glass within two hours of activity, when the body is best able to expedite recovery.

YEP!! Chocolate milk ROCKS! I often drink it after a workout and I do feel "replenished" after pushing myself.
