    Friday 8/26 35minute swim, 55minute run
Irene will be putting a damper on my scheduled run for sunday. I should still get in my swim and maybe I'll just bike on the trainer, or run on the treadmills at the Y

    8/26-35 minutes around town.

8/27-rode 2.5 hours. Rode with a friend while she is training for a marathon so I was riding around 7 mph so lots of free spinning.

2.5 hours on the trainer... ugh! :grumble: 38 miles though.
Irene made it so biking outside wasn't going to happen today. Luckily, we'll just be getting some heavy rain and wind. Nothing like what the coast is getting.

Rode 183 minutes today; 31 miles. Very strong headwinds off the ocean, but it was a beautiful day.

Took a rest day on 8/27 mainly due to lack of time but this is harder than I thought.

    8/28: rode 47 minutes (12.9 miles, 17 mph).

Only got in 20 minutes of bicycling time, but made up the rest of the 30 (and more) circuit training today. Gym was muggy, ick.

Only rode 48 minutes today. Little bummed out tonight; was hoping to ride across the State of Washington. However, the rim on the back tire went out today, and I'll have to find a shop somewhere tomorrow that can build me another one. The rim I had apparently was not designed to take 365 pounds of me up 4 and 5% grades. It has been beautiful riding here though. More than likely, I won't make my mileage goals for the month now. I'm sitting at 621, and I have 139 miles to ride yet this month. I just don't think I'll find a complete wheel this quickly this time of year.

I rode the stationary bike at the gym today since I was in a reading mood. Nothing like finishing a novel while fitting in 90 minutes of pedaling.

8/29-in for 20 minutes of riding to/from my 35 minute spin class this morning. Threw in another ride of 68 minutes after work. My knees are sore tonight--pushups without a matter at the end of spin class did not help!
