WOW... I was way under sodium today. Did over 80 minutes at the gym. Will be trying the squats... though my feet are sore.
So far -- 5 for nutrition, 40 for cardio = 45 points.
Will let you know later re: squats. Doesn't sound like fun to me!

As predicted with work, school prep and sports getting into full swing, things are harder to get done. I had to make a choice today to exercise or cook dinner from scratch. Opted for exercise, so that means I went over my sodium. Oh well, 10 points are better than 5. I did get my squats done. It was hard because I was still sore from all the squats in my kettlebell workout on Sunday, but I was able to push through.
Exercise - 10 points
Cardio - 20 points
Total for me 30 points

UPDATE: Squats weren't so horribly bad... still have 5 to do, but thought while I gave my thighs a second, I'd post in here. I will finish the last 5 after this post and then to bed!

OK... so I went to the main google spreadsheet to look at how we were stacking up against the other teams this week - because we are kicking our own past butts this week! But those darn Curvettes have the lead right now... We gotta really "hit" it hard on both Wednesday and Thursday!! We can do this... but it's gonna take every single one of us! They had 200 points more on day one, we beat them by 5 points on day two, thier rest day they had 515 and we had 525... And, that's about all that has posted so far.

Total for today - 85 points.....OMG I have never walked ( well intetionally) 5 miles in one day. I didn't do it all at once or I think I would be in the hospital but took a mile @ a time and built up all day. Also got 40 mins of exercise in....was a tough day I did my best for the team. I really hope this helps us.

Sorry to let my team down today, but a crisis at work kept me there for 13 hours. Such is the life of a social worker, but I feel bad I wasn't able to earn any points today or get to spend any time with my family. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I am absolutely wiped out, so I am going to bed so I can get back at it tomorrow.0

Really forced myself to do more for the team today... was hoping to help make up some of the difference between us and those darned machines that call themselves the Curvettes. I wanted to stop a number of times but kept thinking... one more mile, five more minutes, even just a half mile more... went further and longer than I had intended... but when I count up the points, I guess I thought it would be a few more... still happy with what I have though!
Under Carbs: Did It, +5
Dumbbell Rows: Did them the best I could (no bench), +10
Cardio: 124 minutes, +60
TOTAL = +75 Points
(again, I am happy with that... I just for some reason thought that I was gonna be more at 85/90 points when I was on that bike at the gym... oh well!)0 -

So far: 215 points... and no doubt going up when Amy stops in.
We are/were 115 points behind the Curvettes as of point completion yesterday... who's with me for making tomorrow a super-huge day for exercise?!? Even if we don't beat them (THIS week) we as of yesterday's totals were even with the most that we had ever gotten point wise. Last week we ended with 1525 and that was our score for this week yesterday! Kinda hoping they had a slow day today so we can gain on that lead... and then put our all(s) into tomorrow!
My weigh-in is tomorrow and I am tentatively excited... so the exercise will all happen after that... could make a huge impact on how my weigh-in goes!0 -
sorry girls....i was so sick last night!!!! i did get 20 minutes of cardio in before going home and i was under my carbs so that helps a little.....i am going to get some crazy cardio in today to make up for it0

Hello Ladies!! Hoping that we had a good day across the board?!??
Of note first... I released over 6 pounds at my weigh-in today! SO happy! I am at 90.6 pounds released and am aiming to get to the 3-digit mark in September. So hopeful that this continues!! There have been a number of people I am friends with on here that talk about the stall right before the 100 mark.
OK - now to today... Just want to say that I did todays' gym for each of you! I did... I didn't really want to go today, I was cold and tired. BUT I want to win this week! So, I kept going... in fact, even talked myself into staying and riding the bike while watching Big Brother because then I would get in more time. I don't like that the burn is not as good... but if I wanted to go for endurance, it was gonna have to be biking. Plus - I have large miles to do for my September Triathalon. Anyway - inspired by trying to go for big points to push us through to the win... here's my numbers...
