Repost from Gary6030- O.K. Let's start this week off right! Since we are short this week I'm offering a mini-challenge. Remember Gym Class? Do you remember doing the bear walk? As a side mini-challenge you don't have to ever do the mini-challenges. But if you'd like to earn your team an extra point bearwalk for 3 minutes. Seems easy but it has to be a constant bear walk constantly moving for 3 minutes. You might be surprised! If you do the bear walk at the end of the week ask them to add one point to your team score! if you choose not too or cannot perform the mini-challenge its all good! This is just something to get our challenge up and running! So there it is FIRST MINI-CHALLENGE a Constant 3 minute Bearwalk.0

Also from Gary... SEPT CHALLENGE FOLKS THAT ARE USING THE BUSHMEN SERIES EXERCISES! I forgot to add that you need to begin each day with a tabata 4 minute start. I am using this young woman's series. Its great but you have to stay in time with her. 20 seconds hard core 10 seconds rest for minutes. It will push you hard and will shape and tone large muscle group areas. Make sure everyday starts with a tabata no matter what the challenge is! I have NEVER heard of a Bear Walk..... so of course I had to google it. Looks easy enough, but I'm sure I'll be hating it half way through. Just in case anyone else doesn't know what it is:

Gooooood Friday Morning:
Up at 4:45 am!!! Tabata done!
I have a 16 hour work day today, so Bushman COMPLETED!!
Week 1/Day 2
2 sets of 15 swimmers presses
2 sets 21's
2 sets dumbell chest flys
2 sets 15 lawnmowers
2 sets 15 tricep kickbacks
2 sets shouler shrugs
All above with 5 pound weights.
Will post on calories and water later.... Probably no running today, however working at my family's resturant tonight after working today, soooo I'll be running around for 8 hours!!!!

Water intake: 10 glasses or so
Under calories? Nope....I think I might need to start a debate with Gary. I went over by like 50 calories because I had a glass of OJ (I opted for OJ rather than the milk shake I REALLY wanted) but I think we should get points for being within 10% of our calorie goal. I see people who eat like 600 calories in a day and that counts as under but it's NOT healthy0 -
Just saw that each morning needs to start with a tabata...does that count toward points? Cause I don't have reliable internet at my house so I can't really complete that0

That was for August... though I am sure there will be another coming soon.
BUT
I bet those 50 crunches burned at least 1 calorie each - so count them as exercise - figure a way to estimate that burn - and recalculate... I bet you will find you were under calories yesterday!!0 -
