I want to lose about 25 though. I work out six days a week, but I can use some accountability on my diet. Please add me as a friend too! Fitness is my thing, so I will be glad to offer support or answer questions on that score.

Hello! If its not to late to join I would love to take on the challenge! I want to lose 25 or 30 lbs before my March wedding, but obviously would like it gone asap so the dress can fit right and alterations take forever and I don't want weightloss to make my dress fit weird. anyways I would love to join if you want to add me new here but serious about taking on challenges with people who are serious about being consistent :) btw love the scripture
  • I lost 2 lbs. I am now sitting at 226. Furthermore, I've lost 5 inches around my body.

I've worked out everyday and have incorporated weights into my routine. I was a little worried that the weights would make me gain, but it didn't. I managed to pull my hamstring too, and that worried me. But, friends from MFP told me how to swim with using a pull buoy. That helped a lot! I can't, however, wait until I have my full ability back!

aaargh...i did so well until wednesday. Then it all went downhill straight up until yesterday. It's almost like i feel that when things get tough, it's ok to slack off. I know otherwise. Still, that was six days. I've got the whole rest of the year, and this challenge, to make up for it ;)

We have a similar goal :). And perhaps similar situations--if i'm working out, the food isn't and vice versa--need it all to come together :)
  • Everyone did great this week! No gains! Welcome newcomers, we are glad to have you!

WHOOPS--i was looking at the wrong week. Never mind that.

It's 100 DAYS until the end of the year. Now that's a nice, even number.

So, those of us thinking we have all the time in the world, um, yeah. 3 lbs every 10 days :)
  • You are doing so good dragonflybird!!!!! I want to be like you when I grow up...LOL! No but seriously, you are killin it!! Go Girl!!!!!!!!!!!
  • okay, This week I've lost 2lbs! I must say that it has been a challenging week. I did manage to get in some exercise but not as much as I would have liked to. I did manage to make goal for the challenge though. I feel like I'm not doing as much as I should be doing. It's been a month on MFP and I have lost a total of 9 lbs so I'm celebrating that! I have lost a grand total of 14 lbs,I started losing before I joined. I'm feeling better already! I'm going to try harder next week to increase my cardio. I can't wait to here how everyone else has done this week.

Last week was a hard week for me it was the week before that time of the month..ugh! But i still worked out about 258 mins that week and stay within my calories and lost 1.4lbs!!
  • Great job ladies!!! Kyunda that is great that you still worked out during AF!! I wish I could!! Well I probably could if I would get this massive fibroid removed that is causing me so much pain and heavy flow during that time! But I don't want to be cut on so, this is a part of the reason I'm trying to stay on the healthy track. My doctor said that eating right and working out can shrink it, so I'm giving it a try!

I'm at 152 today, down 2.3 from last week :) This is the best loss I've had so far so I'm really excited! :) (can you tell from all the smilies? :D ) I'm guessing at least a pound was retained water from the previous week (TOM), but it's still nice to see the scale jump down :)

I lost 2 lbs this week. I even ate salad, vegetables, and salmon on date night with the hubby. I am starting to suspect that I set my target weight too low, though. My friend is 3 inches shorter than I am and a great weight...and weighs only a couple pounds less than my target weight. Thoughts?
  • I lost 2 pounds and a whopping 6.5 inches!!!! I exercised for an hour or more 6/7 days. My calorie intake was always under the limit, but I was always going over 1200 (some days that was hard to do...get to 1200 that is).

At least you didn't kid yourself about it. Everyone has those kind of weeks, but as long as you are honest with yourself about how it happened and DON'T GIVE UP, you will see it next week. Plus, those touch-and-go weeks are great for your metabolism long-term. Your body won't be able to figure out how to become more efficient at storing fat.

Oops! I didn't post my workouts, because I always work out. So to save time, you can always assume I worked out six days a week for at least two hours at a time unless I report otherwise. This challenge has motivated me to cut out the processed sugar and flour (again!), and the effect on my body is amazing. I feel so much better, I am nicer, and my rolls are dissolving. I am pretty sure I have some kind of problem processing that stuff, because I don't think it should affect me this profoundly.

Hey everybody, sorry I've been M.I.A. I started i believe at 240 and currently at 236. I have been doing a juicing regiment that I have my ups and downs on staying on task with. Last WED I just started a Couch to 5k program to help me with getting back into the swing of getting into the gym. I have a herniated disc in my lower back between S1 and L5 discs in my back. So far I am feeling good, so lets keep it going and I will check in Next MONDAY! :)

    Feel free to add me!
  • ctgreen, I wish I could say the same about the working out! I have to make myself exercise, literally!! I'm so glad that you are doing the challenge with me. niclipsegsx, it's okay that you've been MIA, we are glad you came back to check in with us and let us know you are still with us! You guys are doing an awesome job!

Down 2.6lbs!! I workout hard last. I started turbo fire and i love it. I stayed under my calories each day.
  • Dang Kyunda that is AWESOME!!! I only lost one measely pound but guess what, I'm happy about it!!! I've lost 10 lbs total since I started this challenge! I did manage to get the exercise in this week but I had to make myself! I stay under my calorie range all week as well! My birthday was yesterday and the only thing I splurged on was one mixed drink! I'm proud of myself!

Good morning everyone! This is my second check in and I haven't lost anything scale wise, I actually showed that I gained 3lbs. So I'm renewing my vowel of clean eating for this week to see if it helps get me back on track, i know I can do it and I want to be able to say I lost 40lbs by the holidays!

I'm going to juice and continue my workout regimen as well.
  • Sounds like a great plan Nick!! You can do it! Next week those 3lbs will be lost!!
