I'm posting a day early because of the other thing I do; I weight in on Sundays. So I finally got over the plateau and lost 4.8 pounds. I have 2 more pounds to go to I reach the goal of losing 40 for the new year. :)

    That's awesome!

Am I the only one tracking in here now? Well last week I forgot, but I was down 1 pound. Today I weight myself for a different group I'm in and I gained that pound back. So there was no weight loss. :(

awww--i just popped back for a peek -- you're doing awesome. It's discouraging when challenges go dormant, i know. Guess what--i'll get back to it for the rest of the journey to the end of the year. Kind of like running a mile with someone who's completing a marathon :) (the marathoner being you).
  • Ooops a day late. Oh well. I have lost 6.8 pounds since the last time I was in here. I've also lost 5.5" I'm please with myself and I only have 1.2 pounds to go to reach the 40 pounds before New Year. :)

Hey Dragonfly. I just happened upon this thread and it looks like you are the only one left standing, Way to stay with the challenge! less than three weeks left. I hope you make it! I would love to lose my 40th pound by new years too. Not only do I have Christmas, but also my anniversary, birthday and my son's birthday all that week. I hope I don't fall off and get that 40th pound.

would love to check back here and see if you made it. You are so close!

Not terrible--not great. Finally got in a full length workout at the gym today. Three more weeks this year--we can definitely do some damage in that amt of time :). You will get to 40. If out of every challenge only one person makes it, then that means we just have ot keep having challenges until everyone does :)
  • I'm back. I only lost .2 of a pound. I guess that is better than a gain. Now I have 1.2 pounds to lose in order to complete this challenge.
