Friend of a co-worker, she thought we would be good together, a few months later we met, chatted, and have been together for 81/2 years, married for 6 1/2 and have a 10 month old son.

We were in classes together in University, but never met until she already graduated.

I worked at Dunkin' Donuts as my first job. About 5 years ago, he came in regularly in the evenings. I asked to work as many evening shifts as they would give me. Halloween week came and we were allowed to dress up. I dressed up as something new each night .. The night of the school girl outfit hooked him. Mine ever since.

I met my husband in school, but we didn't date after I graduated. We were good friends before we dated and hung out at a mutual friends house and one night I had no where else to sit so I just sat in his lap( and we were not that good of friends then). We have been together ever since for 10 years.

Honestly you'll just meet them when you least expect it!! I'm not married, but you'd be surprised where and when I've met my boyfrends. My current man I met at a casino..here in Fl the Hard casino is open 24 hrs so me and his cousin would go there on the weekends...she called him one night asking him to come on over, and he showed up, and that was that! My sister is a doctor, and has a lot of bad luck in meeting losers, so she does the online dating, and gets a feel of who and how they are before she dates them. I think the online dating is working for a lot of people! When you stop looking for the right one...he'll show up!
I say focus on youself and achieving your goals, or maintaining them, and be happy with yourself!! Everything will fall into place!

He's South African, im British, his visa then ran out so i decided to come back with him to SA, now we've been married almost a year, and it was the best decission ive ever made.

I met hubby online at that time we both had Bellsouth.net... He put up a post looking for a friend and i replyed What was i thinking ..LMBO... So with in 4 months of knowing each other we got married .. Still what the HELL was i thinking ...LMBO...

I met my fiance through my ex hahaha. I had gone through a bad break up and ended up having this rebound/fling/thing with another ex of mine. One night he said he was going out with a friend of his and "some French guy" to a bar, so I jokingly said "Oh French? If he's hot give him my number haha". So after a few drinks he thought it'd be funny to text me from his friend's phone pretending to be "the French guy" (I'm not sure why that would even be funny), so he started sending me these dumb texts saying "I'm the French guy, I think you're hot" and stuff like that. I quickly figured it was him, so I asked him to say something in French because I knew he didn't know a bit of French. When he asked Pierre how to say something in French, he took the phone and said, "If this girl thinks she's talking to me, I want to actually talk to her". So then we started texting back and forth and he ended up copying my number off his friend's phone and we were texting each other all night just having a good conversation. We decided to meet up a couple days later and we just drove around aimlessly for hours just talking and talking before finally getting some dinner to eat, and then hanging out at his apartment talking even more. I think we ended up spending a good 10 hrs together that day!

Aaaand the next day I broke off the rebound/fling/thing haha.
