    Every. Dang. Day.

    Sometimes - I don't trust the number - so I step on 2 or 3 more times.

    2x day.
    morning and right before bed.

Keeps me acountable, and helps me realize variations happen, sometimes I can predict the reason, sometimes I can't.

It is recommend to weigh once every 2 weeks, but I do it every week to see where I can make adjustments with my exercise and diet.
  • I weigh myself once a week, on Tuesdays. A friend of mine on here and I do it and keep each other on track! :)

I weigh every day but only record it once a week on the same day. That's Friday morning for me. Before the weekend of badness!

Yep, every morning before eating anything. (only record it every couple of days) I used to do it only once a every 2 weeks. (supposedly that is how you are supposed to do it) But then I would forget to do it & the next time I stepped on the scale ( a week or so overdue) I would have either stayed the same or gained some weight back!

I use to do it once a month, now I do it once a week.
  • I weigh myself most mornings after I wake up, but I only log once a week. I'm usually weighing myself more because I'm curious than because I'm expecting to lose weight every day. I think weighing myself fairly often will help me see the fluctuations and maybe be able to understand them.

HAHA.....Me too!!!!! I keep going untill I get the same number at least 2x!
  • Friday Morning. Please remember the scale does not lie but it does not tell you everything. Just don't be bound by it or dictate how your day will be. When you first see someone and they look great, the first thing you notice is how fit and slim they are not how much they weigh. Buy yourself a pair of jeans that will be your goal to fit and feel sexy in.

Me too. I like to see where I am at in the evening and I know how much I usually lose over night, so the number in the morning is rarely a surprise.
  • I'm NOT obsessive/compulsive.

Now that I got that out of the way, I weigh myself multiple times per day. It's not because I obsess over the number, but because I want to understand my body's rhythms. So, If I'm at 181 in the morning, it's OK that I'm at 183 at night...I know that I'll lose two pounds overnight. And, if not, it will work out over time. I'm eating right, exercising right...the rest will come.

But, I'm a numbers guy by profession & temperament. I just like having a lot of data points.

The general advice is to only do it weekly..at the same time of day.

And, I'm STILL not OCD. But, I did have to sort my M&Ms into colors before I ate them (back when I ate them). :smokin: :smokin: :smokin:

Once a month. Then I know any changes I have made have been allowed enough time to be effective (or not!)

I have to agree that i weigh myself every morning and post it once a week on Fridays. im considering only weighing myself once a week and only posting every other week. I have found that when i weigh myself every day i tend to not stick to only posting on my set day. I get all antsy or something lol.
  • my scale is my Wii fit board so I do it every morning when i do my body test

I have an app on my phone that I enter my weight into every morning. There is a graph. With the spike days I look at my diary to see what I had the previous day.
