    No change this week. Still 197. The good news though is that I ran my first 5K on Saturday. I achieved my goal of running the whole thing. Yay! :)

    I'm so sorry for the delay in updating the spreadsheet last week. I had a very difficult week and it was hard to get on here. I had two funerals to go to and then traveled this weekend with my husband, it was a nice getaway. So, all is well now and I'm back, all is updated as of now. I'm so glad you are all still committed to this challenge. Some of you have already lost 20lbs!! That's amazing, keep up the great work! Still a ways to go before New Year's, I know I need to get my butt in gear.

    I'm running the Turkey Trot in Cleveland this year and have started training with my husband. Ran 1.2 miles last night around our block with my husband last night, can't remember the last time I ran that long! Anyway, hope you are all doing great, keep going!!!

    Don't get discouraged Sara, you've already lost over 7lbs, that's great! Even if you dont make it to your goal by the new year, you will shortly after, keep up the great work!

    So sorry for the late weigh-in….I did weigh myself on Monday, but I’ve been busy removing wallpaper at my new house and I wasn’t able to get on here to update you guys. Unfortunately I had a gain this week…..but I kinda knew it was coming. I ate a lot of junk over the weekend…whatever was easy to snack on while removing wallpaper lol. So here is my weigh-in for this week:

    Hi Everyone,

    I hope you have had a good week. I'm relieved to advise that my weigh-in this week has shown some progress (virtually stationary last week). Like librarynerd81, I'm not at all confident that I'll reach my goal by the end of the year, however I'm hanging in there:

    Starting Weight for this Challenge - 202 lbs (91.7 kg)
    Goal Weight by 1st Jan 2012 - 177 lbs (80 kg)

    15th November - 189.6 (86.0 kg) - which is 0.7 kg (about 1.5 lbs) lost this week

    I know that many people have recently enjoyed a festive season/Thanksgiving. Do you have any hints you can share in the lead-up to Christmas?

    Sorry is been a little while - I have been weighing myself but am endlessly terrible at checking in. I'm down to 165.8lbs this week! Lowest my weight has been since sixth form. Hooray!

    Well I'm happy this week. After no losses for a bit, I'm down 4 lbs this week. My current weight is 195. I changed my eating habits this past week and ate pretty much primal. Only meats, veg, and fruits. No processed anything. It worked. Gave a jump start to my stagnant body. Let's see where I can take this. I, too, don't see myself making my goal. But hey, at least the scale is going down.

    Great job, everyone! Keep up the hard work. It's worth it in the long run.

    Ok I was down to 193 yesterday morning...I had gradually gone down and held that for a day or 2. This morning I was 195 (24 hours later) but Tom is visiting.......SO! I am saying 193!
