My NSV for the moment is that I actually completed day 1 of 30DS! I tried almost 2 weeks ago and felt terrible but today I feel great, and now I know I can do it, so that should make it easier to complete day 2!
  • Down a notch on the belt this morning. Happy dance!

My "thin" pants (size 12) are feeling baggy today- in the butt -my biggest "asset." - Woo hoo!! I can't believe I'll be comfortably wearing size 10 soon!!

I've been sick the last couple days, so someone asked me how I was feeling and before I could even answer, she said "skinny? you look great!" Put a smile on my face for sure =)

Jumped on the scale this morning and it was down 5.8lbs, I know that isnt my "actual" weight but its usually + 1-2 pounds every morning. The fact that its down and so low makes me excited about my weigh in on Sunday

I ran for 30 minutes straight today without needing any water. When I began my running journey 30 seconds in I was sweating bullets gasping for air and chuggin water (no lie!).

Even better NSV. after my 30 minutes was up I started my cool down and said to myself "you could have kept going" because I WASN'T EVEN TIRED!

I exercised even though I feel really tired and stressed. I feel like if I've done something good for me.

These are all awesome! Sometimes the non scale related things (like the great running improvement you made) are the times where you step back and can truly see how far you've come! Great job!

I wore a skirt and a fitted blouse to campus and boys were just STARING at me. I even went into a bathroom to make sure they weren't staring because I had spilled something all over myself, lol.

It was totally flattering, but I think I'm going back to jeans and a tshirt tomorrow, haha.

Put on a jacket his morning that I bought back in '09 and hadn't been able to wear since. Not only did it fit again, but I found 3 dollars in the front pocket!

I am wearing SIZE 10 jeans today. I have never in my adult life worn size 10 jeans. (Well, when I was eating disordered and icky skinny, but I'm not counting that.) I love Goodwill. 4 pairs of jeans for $20.

I am healthy and fit and - dare I say it - looking pretty dang good!
  • I had posted this earlier went to Mc Donalds and threw away the mocha latte, the 90 grams of sugar from myfitnesspal logging was staring at me.

i realized this morning that i have an increasingly small number of clothing items that actually will stay on, much less fit.

more than the scale, the fact that my old (and TIGHT) clothes are hanging off my body, and some won't even stay up anymore, is a huge NSV =D
  • Last time I posted what my NSV was, the moderators took it down :(

I have a small dog who likes to take off running down the street any time I open the front door and today I took off after her. The look on her face was priceless when she realized I caught up to her all she could do was put her ears back and tail between her legs. C25K is really paying off before i would get in my car and drive down the street to get her

I came home from the gym today feeling so pumped, I actually asked my husband to take my picture while I posed, all sweaty, showing my newly found bicep.

I usually hide from cameras, but not this time!! Now if I could just get that "sexy beast" pose down without laughing hysterically at myself. Not real good at the sultry thing.

Today I wore my old skinny jeans - I've been too scared to try them on since I started putting on weight, so I have no idea how much they did or didn't fit, but they were fine today :-D

I bought a new pair of shorts the beginning of summer. I started this journey 22 dats ago, and there were too big! My jeans no longer fit either! AND to top it off, my neighbor stopped me to tell me I LOOK like I lost weight! WOOO! =)

My husband said "holy *kitten*! I can grab my elbows!" (him hugging me around my waist) followed by "you look like one of those pin-up models"

he rarely compliments me so these rule

My first victory of the day (like that? This is just the first!) Is that I was walking into work and noticed that my pants are slowly sliding down lol- time to buy a smaller pair!

I had this "problem" too! :-)

I actually checked myself out in the mirror at work! (And didnt think ewww. hahaha  )
  • Went to the doctor today and blood pressure was 100 over 70, pulse 55.
  • I put on my "favorite" sweater this morning.....and promptly took it off because it was so big and baggy on me. Time to shop for a new "favorite", in a smaller size!

Woke up and threw out my bad snacks before I worked out. I should have known better not to buy them (and I pigged out last night).

My work shirts (unflattering polos with company logo) are loose, no longer clinging to my arms, tummy or hips and my bras are getting too big!!!

My entire outfit today was a NSV~
The Blouse~ previously waaaay too tight is now loose
The Pants~previously VERY form-fitting, now puckering all over the place
The Belt~ an NSV on it's own since I NEVER wear one~ but I had to use the INNERMOST hole!

This weekend I was going to wear my strapless bra and when I put it on, the band barely touched me!!! It was a 40 and now I'm a 36!!!

It's not an NSV for today but: I did hot yoga last night! It was AMAZING! I was disgustingly gross when I left but felt like a sweaty rockstar! And the best part? I can't WAIT to go next Tuesday night!
