I can't do running for an hour. I am so out of shape and my asthma would be angry! It makes me sad to know that I am probably not burning as much as I think I am, which is little already. I do 30 minutes of walking/jogging on the treadmill and it says I burn about 160-180 calories. I looked up Zumba and there are actually some classes on base that I think I could take for free! Do you really think its a warm up class?0

Well running 5 miles 45 minutes it takes me at about 81/2 9 minute miles is about 500 calories. Doing Tae bo for 50-55 minutes is about 450 calories. The elliptical machine for about one hour is 500 or more calories. Jari Love get ripped at home tapes which mix cardio and strength training is over 500 calories in 55 minutes. Those are my usual calorie burns.
