I add anyone that sends a request and remove people who don't log in for more than 14 days.
I'll pretty much add anyone. It's not like I know anyone on here anyway, and I give people onemonth of not logging in before they get the boot.

But to the OP-I'm more likely to add someone close to my age range, and in the military as they undersand the lifestyle and having to maintain a certain weight or below for the job. I'm not really against giving anyone a fair shake though, and as much as I joke around-nutrition and exercise comes above all else on this site, for me. I'm here to support.

I'll accept adds with the following:

    1. A message (since I clearly state I would like to have messages aka make a connection...not just be another person on someones "friends list".
    2. Mutual friends and we post often on the same threads aka have the same views, etc.
    3. Every now and then a few get through without messages or any connection for the fact that they are sheer eye candy! However, some have turned out to be really awesome adds and great support

I am shallow. I recently sent a request to a friend just because she was pretty. In fact, my FR said that is the reason I was requesting her as a friend. Also, if you are friends with my friends, I will add you. However, if you cannot stand to read the words F&*k, *kitten*, *kitten*, MoFo, on a regular basis, I suggest you don't send me a request. I also eat small childrens liver so if that is not your thing, i can teach you how to season it right...Just joking y'all. I think!!!
  • I only add friends on Booty and boob theme days. I'm shallow like that. That's right folks - I'm a wanna be creeper.

Oh by the way... I'm kidding. I'm not picky. As long as you interact and leave some sort of message in the request I'll accept.

If I go to add someone and see that they have one of those generic, "make sure you send me a message with a friend request or I won't accept your add" markers on their page, sometimes I will be mischevious and send a message when I send the add which says, "This is the required message." Most folks have a sense of humor and add me anyway :)

That's a perfectly acceptable message. I literally want words in that box. That's all.

I want friends that are fun,can deal with my "unusual" sense of humor, don`t mind adult talk or teasing and are just plain decent.

The fact that all the ladies happen to be gorgeous and sexy is just an added benefit.:smokin:

I accept anyone regardless. I'm not a friend *kitten*, but to those who don't send a message or acknowledgement that my online existence is infamous in username alone, I am not doing them a service or favor by accepting them...I'm giving them the surprise of a lifetime when the following status update is one of a bowel movement used with the metaphor that the feeling, upon exit, was compared to sandpaper.

I feel it's up to them to decide to keep ME on their lists. You send me a request, and you're entering a risk zone of entertainment, hilarity, perversion, intelligence, and arrogance. Oh, and I'm also modest.

You like anime? As do I. I'll be waiting for your request now. See how gracious I am?

I like to see messages so I know why someone took the time to add me - but I have yet to deny a friend request. If I accept and they end up not being supportive, etc. - they will eventually get deleted. I am not about the numbers. Who cares?

I add people that are supportive or make me laugh. I will also add someone that is hot - but only if they appear to be supportive or funny - not if they seem snobbish. There are enough nice, hot folks around that I don't need to waste my time with those that are rude.

I have deleted people due to lack of participation/interaction. Most of the people that are still on my friends list but haven't logged for a while are people I know IRL and for now I feel bad deleting them. That may change at some point...

I add them based on goals -- Most of my friends inspire me every single day and are there for me...I really think I have the best friends on here!! They push me when I dont feel like doing it , they are truthful and caring they arent rude. i would not have gotten this far without them

At first I just added, whatever. My wall got so busy that I was missing stuff so I now require a note, then I go in and take a look at their profile and activity. I have the note request on my profile, so I know that if they send a note they've made the request after reading my profile and making a decision based on that.

if they are on the thread and i think "dam I wish i said that" that tends to be a good thing
  • if they're hot, inspirational, witty and thick skinned, have an interesting reason for friending me, etc. or a combination of all of the above.
Pretty much what she said...plus anyone that I look up to or could admire, or people who I might be able to motivate/and motivate me

Because they motivate me to move forward, they have common goals or because they are fantastic!

Also, they have a sense of humor. I don't really focus on whether or not a person is attractive, I am more focused on my goal and the people in my friend's list are a true inspiration! :D

I add people that ask for motivators and others that I see have similar interests...mud runs, etc. I also like to laugh so I have added a few people that have had funny remarks on posts that I have read.

I have my mom, best friend, and 2 other good friends I've known personally IRL for years on here. Everyone else either welcomed me when I was new in the introductions area, or vice versa, I've added them from that section of the boards. I think a few people have looked me up in the search members area, since they all live relatively close to me, or they've added me from viewing what I say on the boards. I have in fact deleted people who I can see are no longer active, or they've SAID they're going to no longer be active, and a few people who just turn out to be rude and annoying and I feel are counterproductive.

I've been able to make some great friends here, and I love it!:flowerforyou:

I don't require a message, but I do like it when they're sent. And I check the profile (unless I already know them IRL) before I add, since lately, I've had "skeletonxbones" try to add me, as well as other teenage girls, who's hobbies include starvation, anorexia, throwing up, protruding bones.....where do these weirdos come from?

The quote with the bunny in the hands is excellent! :)

I haven't sent any requests, but except the requests. I don't need a message as I think anyone that would send a request to a picture of just flowers without a picture must be a nice person. Everyone on my (short) list have been that way too! :) It seems you get to know people better especially when there's so many here.
Just as I'm getting to recognize someone from their postings on the forum (going by their picture) and then it changes, I'm lost for a while. ha
