100 Miles in October!

not been doing to bad on my miles, my food is a completely different matter though! need to sort my head out!
Also most my miles where running, and some cycling but it is starting to become more walking miles! (taking family out for walks) but its something and am moving!! just want some decent weather so i can go out and do a massive bike ride need to unwind so to speak!!!!

Walking is awesome exercise! You can burn more calories per minute walking with the family than riding, but the miles accumulate much slower. I love to walk, but I rode another 8.9 miles today with my 9yr old son. We can do this!

exactly what i was thinking!! who cares if i dont hit 100 !?! this has been great motivation for me !! even if i reach 60 ... ?! that is 60 more than i was able to before!!!! and then novemeber i'll do the challenge again!?! ahaha0 -
Thanks ladies! This challenge is totally inspiring me to do more. Instead of just going on a 3 miles walk today with my kids(I have 4 aged 8 and under), I took them on a 5 mile walk/run... the younger two in the double jogger and the older two on their bikes. My hubby is deployed to Afghanistan, so I gotta take them with me whenever I run/walk.
But this challenge pushed me those extra 2 miles today!0 -

really hope i can make this! going to be slowing down alot now as i dont have the time to run during the week, only have the walking i try and fit in (normally around 3 - 5 miles) fingers crossed!!! lol but you guys have been doing great! inspiring is not the word!0

Well, I took a few days off because my back was really hurting me, but back at it today. I ran 3.5 miles this morning and I may try to squeeze in a 2-3 mile walk/run this afternoon if the kids let me. I really doubt I'll hit 100, but even 60 would be awesome for me. I just started running last month, so before September I was getting 0 miles every month!0

Thats great cmjsarmywife, great way to look at it all also! keep up the work though you will be surprised how many miles you get through!!!!!
Hopefully i will get the chance this weekend to get out on my bike and maybe throw in about 20miles fingers crossed i get the time to do it! lol0
