White chocolate mochas. I used to get one at least 4-5 days a week. Now I only have one if I am out of town, so maybe one every 2-3 months. I gave up a lot of other things, like fast food and soda over 5 years ago. Don't miss it either.
  • nothing completely. if i really want something, i'm eating it. i'll just adjust somewhere else.

    I second this motion.

Do I hear a 3rd and final on the motion?

OMG, no!! I always wash my food.

THIS. exactly. I've "given up" foods before and then BAM! binge months or a year or two later. now, i don't give up on anything.

I've given up soda, sweet ice tea, in fact any type of tea, and fast food. Plus I portion control more than ever.

I gave up nothing. I gave up how often I have some things because they don't fill me up enough on the deficit, but if I have a high burn day, I will eat those foods. I drink a lot less.

Wow did you actually make a joke? I think this is the first time I've ever seen you "not so serious". =)

I really can't think of anything I've given up totally, but I severly limit (eat very rarely) anything high in saturated fat (other than chicken wings most of these foods give me digestive trouble anyway) and foods/drinks with added sugar.

I admit it. I can be a wee bit anal at times.

I am working on adopting "clean eating", I just read a book where he calls it "nutritarian" instead of vegetarian. Day 2, so far so good. No meat, just veggies, fruits, bean, seeds, nuts, stuff like that. I have a sweet tooth in the morning when I first wake up so I'm trying to give up my 1 biscotti that I have. Not successful yet. If I have candy in the house, I will eat it so I don't buy it, but my daughter just bought some on Sunday and I had some 100 Grand fun size bars, then I woke up and tied the bag up!

I haven't done it completely yet, but I'm working on giving up numbers. The one on my scale, the one on my pants and the one on my running watch.

I'm confused....you gave up eating clean?

Why would you give that up? Isn't that a good thing?

I have given up temporary dieting. I've given up not keeping a food diary to manage my diet and exercise. I've given up thinking I can live a sedentary lifestyle without the consequences of becoming overweight.

All those things were just self-deception.

I haven't given up any foods or drink.

I haven't completely given up on anything, but there is a lot of stuff I don't keep in the house. Beer and pasta are the biggies. I can't order a whole pizza because I will eat it, but I like a slice at lunch now and then. I guess I no longer eat cereal, because that's my diet killer - I can easily eat three bowls of grapenuts in a sitting.
