3500+ Calories Burned Challenge 10/10 - 10/16

Welcome everyone to the 3500+ calories burned challenge. This is a weekly challenge to meet 3500+ calories burned, it is open to everyone. You set your own calorie goal for the week. Each day post the calories you burned, current total and how many you have to go. That's it, not too hard, other then push push pushing yourself to hit your goal. Everyone is such and inspiration on this challenge. Keep up the good work for the people returning and welcome to the newbies.

Here is the daily update format.

Weekly Goal:
Mon: calories burned (how they were burned)
Tues: calories burned (how they were burned)
Wed: calories burned (how they were burned)
Thur:calories burned (how they were burned)
Fri: calories burned (how they were burned)
Sat:calories burned (how they were burned)
Sun:calories burned (how they were burned)

    I took a couple months off of this challenge but I am ready to jump back into it! I am shooting for 2,000 calories burned this week!

    I might not be able to make it this week since I am running a Half on Sunday, so Im taking it easy this week, so I'll start at 2500

    I'm in. I like the various challenges, they keep me motivated. Due to getting closer to goal weight, I can't compete in the weight loss challenges like I could in the beginning. So the exercise challenges are the way to go!.
    Lately I have been trying to burn 10,000 a week. I used to be a serious couch potato, so now that I am into exercising, I don't want to stay still for long otherwise I might revert to old habits.
    I usually don't do much on Sundays and Mondays as I work 24 out of 32 hours those 2 days. Tuesday through Saturday you will see me get my butt in gear.
    Everyone have a great week and I hope to make a few new friends!!

    For those of us who burn a lot more, I think she wants us to post our own goals for the week. So if you do 10k or 15k, just put that down for a goal.

    This is correct. Its a 3500+ challenge. You can set your own goal but strive for at least 3500.

    I'm game for 3,500, but I will get off to a very slow start. I am in day three of the flu so I will not exercise on Monday and possibly Tuesday. If I can do something Wednesday and be back on track Thursday through Sunday I can still hit 3,500. Its a bit of a gamble but I'll either be back to health or not. I need this goal to motivate me!

    holy crap. What do you do that burns 10k calories in a week?? I'd like to try it!!! I run long distance on the weekend and the most I've ever done in a session is a little over 1000!!

    LOL I try to do 2 or 2 1/2 (sometimes 3) hours of cardio per day 5 or 6 days per week, depending on work schedule (plus I work on the floor at the hospital, so on a really busy night I can do 6 or 7 miles walking). Mainly bike (regular and stationary), elliptical and tons of calisthenics. I try to set machines at the gym to the highest resistance I can manage. Like to get the most calories burned in the shortest amount of time.
