    You're not a prude.

Maybe I am though because I'd un-friend him. I refuse to be even a superficial part of someone trying to be unfaithful to their spouse.

The only reason a man would ask a woman to go out of state (I'm assuming) is if he intends to sample the goods. Not to mention the "No strings" thing can't be anymore obvious.

hes a man he wants to "hit it" one more time n prove hes amazing now... men , most are like this!!

Thanks for painting us all with the same brush. With logic like this, you must be a prostitute.

If he is married, he should not even be asking you(a former girlfriend) let alone any other woman to lunch, unless it is purely business. His wife would be devastated if she knew.

So you're saying a married man can't have female friends? That is so stuck in the dark ages! Haven't you had ex's that are you are now friends with? I know i have, and still do. If his wife is devastated that he went for a meal with a female friend, then she really needs to stop being so clingy and possessive.

I totally think married men and women can have friends of the opposite sex.
    But
    1. This guy is a manipulative jerk. It's been 12 years but I remember that.
    2. His wife is pregnant, if he tried something I'd hate to have to say something
    3. He's recently told me "you were the one who got away" and similar things

I'd love to think there weren't any motives behind this. But I know him.
I'm a single mother in an LDR, I get lonely.
I'd hate to think a glass of wine at dinner could make him think he could try and manipulate me.
    He couldn't
    But I hate awkward

I had an ex offer to fly 1,200 miles to "visit" with me. He was married also and claimed to be happily married, but less than a year later his wife left him for his best friend. Apparently, they hadn't had sex since their wedding night and she was knockin' boots with his best friend in his house behind his back. So much for the happy marriage pretense. I'm glad I said, "no" and stayed 1,200 miles away from that stuff.

Long story short, you have no idea what's going on there so just don't get all mixed up in someone else's marriage drama.

lol no way. I want nothing to do with it. Nothing at all.
I remember him being a jerk. Of the times we did sleep together I remember NOTHING. So clearly even if he wasn't married I'm NOT missing out on anything.

I want to clarify that I posted this not because I was thinking about meeting him for dinner(no way jose!). But because I find it interesting and funny.

As a married man you do not tell a chick(in a relationship) "you're the one who got away" or "ill always be weak around you" and expect her to accept an invitation to dinner. lol

It's sad how many women fall for that crap though, which is why some guys try it. One of my best friends had a 2-year affair with a married man who pulled that line on her along with the "my wife is horrible, but I can't leave b/c of bla bla bla." She's not dumb, but she is really insecure about men. Needless to say, it ended in a lot of heartbreak and lawyers.

Didn't read through the whole thread, but my guess is he is hoping to take you to dinner and if he "accidentally falls, his p***s might "accidentally" accost you.

Ha! To be honest...if I was his wife I'll be tripping out on this! She's acting to cool about it...she probably have low self esteem or something. But not me! "Who's this? And...? Why you talking to her? 12 years ago?!?!? And...? Your point is? Delete her! You're my man! I married you love means sacrifice so uh if you think you're leaving me for some chick from 12 years ago...ha! You think wrong! You better check yourself before you wreck yourself!" PS. She's probably not giving him good head. Lmao! Jk

I couldn't agree more! Why waste all of your time worrying and stressing over what your man is doing... if he is brazen enough to flirt/ try to make a move on other women then F em! Let them go... I could careless, because obviously your relationship will not be any good if he does not want you and only you 100% and trust me any man that strays will do it again and again and again.

Also, ladies don't look though his phone to see who is texting/calling, don't look on his FB to see who his friends are and don't look in his wallet for a condom. Look in the DAMN mirror and ask yourself why are you in this relationship, because once you have to resort to doing those sort of things... the relationship is DONE!

Honestly I don't even know if she knows. I've been avoiding him, so I haven't asked. And I have no intentions of going, so I don't care. lol

Maybe they have some "arrangement" some couples do.

Whatever they have going on I have way too much going on in my life to be part of all that mess.
    Maybe I will delete him.
My profile is so private he wouldn't even be able to message me. :)
