    Hey Okies, where are you???

I'm at work in OKC, was just walking between buildings - that weather front is moving in FAST! Clouds are racing!

    Stay Strong, OKIES...

AND STAY AWAY FROM THAT HALLOWEEN CANDY that your coworkers brought in! Just don't even go to the break room today!

You'll be soooooooooooooooooo glad you resisted!

Have a great day at work. I live out here in the country between Yukon and ElReno. Just doing all my exercise for the day. Then to work at Baptist Hospital in OKC for the 3-11:30 shift. Talk to you soon!

OMG, MFP is cracking me up with the blocking! D!ck's Sporting Goods is opening 4 new locations in Tulsa and surrounding areas. One right up the street from me, so I'm excited about that!

    Dang, it's COLD this morning!

Oh Ada....that brings back memories. I went to OBU for a couple years right out of high school. We spent many a Thursday night driving to Ada to go dancing. Tiger's Den, Extreme Rush...I think there were a couple more, but that's been many years ago!

Looks like the cold weather is here. I finally rounded up all the supplies to wrap the water line today. Only took me three trips to the stores. Glad that is out of the way. Wore Me Out...
    Stay warm my fellow Okies.

Yeah we did all that last week. Pain in the *kitten*. We have a well due to living in the country. The line coming into the house is hooked up to a maze of different joints (people who initially set it up were apparently mentally challenged), into a pressure tank, then a filter system before actually going to the main shut-off valve in the laundry room.
Supposed to have some insulation experts come out next week and do a several thousand dollar job of insulating the crap out of the under side of the house. When it gets the coldest each year, stuff starts freezing up in the NW corner bathroom first then gradually heads to my bathroom in the SW corner. Even with heat tapes, letting the faucet drip, etc. it will happen. They guaranteed after they are done it will never happen again. We will see. LOL

Anyone else feel that 4.7 earthquake at 2:12 am? Holy crap. lol Scared the heck out of me. The whole house was shaking, everything was rattling, car alarms going off. My cat freaked out and jumped on the bed. Haha

So the Hubs and I are in Tulsa for the weekend - went to River Spirit for some fun last night. All of a sudden the bank of machines we were playing stared rockin' and a rollin'! This Los Angeles native felt right at home as the rest of the casino freaked! Folks were standing up outta their seats, looking around in a bit of a panic... and I'm sittin' there saying YES, that felt good to me!

You can keep your thunderstorms and tornadoes folks - I'll take me a good shaker any day, lol!

It freaked me out!!! my uncle from Japan was visiting and he felt right at home. So, I was going to ask, do any of you have a favorite gym that you go to? and please feel free to friend me... I've been lacking on the motivation to eat right lately. and my weight is stuck in a rut (probably the reason for the lack of motivation)

Bye the time the 5.6 came, I actually thought it was pretty cool. All of my friends were talking about being scared, is the end near?, etc. I was actually laughing and loving it. Just like my horror movie/book fascination. People are screaming at the theater and I just eat it up. Because I like the thrill. lol

I use our health-club here at Integris Baptist Hospital in OKC, so not much help. I hear that Planet Fitness is great. Brand new facility. Friendly atmosphere. Low rates and month-to-month. Also 24 hours per day 5 days per week and I think 12 hours per day on weekends. Several of my friends go there, so just telling you what they say. Hope you find something to fit your needs.

    Morning fellow Okies!!

I did not feel the 2am quake... I think I was in the car. I did, however, feel the 5.6. It woke me up! Well - it could have also been my hubby bracing himself against the walls in the hallway yelling 'It's another earthquake!!!'.

    Miss Marti - I had a B-L-A-S-T Friday night!!

And now - off to another exciting day of tech writing!
