    3. how much do you weigh? Last I checked 125, I don't weigh myself often, the scales lies.

    4. how many gross calories do you eat? Between usually between 1600-2000, sometimes more..... If I am hungry I eat, simple as that. I also have a Treat Meal once a week...anything goes!

    5. how many net calories do you eat? I don't pay attention to any of that.

    6. are you still losing? Yes losing bodyfat and inches, which is my concern.

    7. what's your goal weight? No goal weight...my goal is to gain more muscle and definition.

    I'm maintaining really well since Oct 5th of 2011. January 2011 I was at my heaviest of 165 putting me 40#'s down!!

    3. Starting weight: 157 lbs. Currently 132 lbs.
    4. Between 1000-1200
    5. Between 900-1100
    6. I gained over the holidays and trying to work those off. They are not coming off fast... but I'm steadily losing about .2 lbs per week. I need to step up the exercise though.
    7. I exceeded my goal by getting to 121 last August. I'm working to get back to 122 which is my goal.

    4. how many gross calories do you eat? At least 1500 and 2000 on Saturdays when I do a double workout. I eat to hunger and drink to thirst plus a little
    5. how many net calories do you eat? At least 1200. I think it averages around 1400-1500
    6. are you still losing? Yes, less than a half pound per week
    7. what's your goal weight? I am within a pound. I want to continue to tone up and put my bum back in place after my kids (a set of newly turned 4 year old twins and a 19 month old).

    jeanine..sorry. this is going badly. I wasn't criticizing your plan at all. I just wanted to understand your method of using it because some people go several days up and then several days down...like 1200/1200/1200/2000/2000/1200/1200 and others just do down/up/down/up in an alternating fashion. So i wanted to know your method. I do want other perspectives and to know what works for people.

    I just didn't want you to think that I wanted to do it .Sorry if it came across as snappy or anything. It wasn't my intent.

    I REALLY appreciate this reply as I didn't get a good vibe. The week schedule I gave as the example is the chart I go by. Personally I LOVE it and it worksso well fo rme and a few other friends i know that are trying it.


    Jeanine - THANK YOU for offering this information! I just checked it out and am going to try it as I have hit a little bit of a plateau and actually think may not eating enough calories.

    6. are you still losing? not for a month or so weight training for 4 months now. use measuring tape versus the scale.
    7. what's your goal weight? Would like to be 110-115 but since I weight train at least 3 times a week 120-125 is great as long as I can get my BF% down and fit into a size 2-3. Currently 4

    OK - You all inspired me with your answers. Here's mine:

    4. how many gross calories do you eat? depends on the workout - normally between 1250-1400
    5. how many net calories do you eat? around 800
    (based on other people's answers, I maybe need to up my calories or try the zag-zag thing)
    6. are you still losing? (if so, how fast) YES.. a little over 1 pound every 1-2 weeks
    7. what's your goal weight? 115-120 (was 103 when running marathons but that was a decade younger :) )

    5. I always try to hit 1000, but it usually ends up around 700
    6. I don't think so. Gaining if anything, I only weigh in once per month
    7. No clue, I was 92 lbs around January 1st, gained eight pounds in six weeks. I was 100 on February 4th.

    P.S. I feel like I could answer this thread so much better on March 4th (next weigh in day) to see my real progress.

    I was 120lbs pre-children but I'm having such a hard time losing the "baby weight" that honestly I'd settle for 135lbs at this point. I just want to feel pretty again :( I admit, I am the one to blame since I don't seem to stay consistent with my eating/exercising so I am working on that. I enjoy food so much now and hate to feel like I can't have something... but you all are an inspiration!! All short like me and in great shape (some even after children, which REALLY inspires me).
