So surprised that so many people on here seem to have no taste in movies  how can you dislike LOTR or Star Wars? Or District 9? Or Anchorman?!

For me, I'll sit down and give most movies a go but there are a couple I switched off:
Solaris - I found it so, so mind numbing
Crash (NOT the Sandra Bullock one) - disturbing
Date Movie - complete trash

I'm sure there are more but can't think of them at the moment

The Terminal with Tom Hanks..."In Krakosia, cart parks you!"

And I LOVE Tom Hanks, but he was insufferable in that movie...

There are probs many more, but all I can think of is the Twilight movies...I remember saying I hated them before they even started then, when I eventually got around to watching it at home, I couldn't get past the first half hour without feeling so uncomfortable (physically uncomfortable) and cringy that I started fidgeting in my seat and eventually had to change the channel to something I already have on DVD...

How can you not like a film if you've never seen it?

easily....I will never EVER watch or read Twilight, and I hate it....I hate it because of the way it exists, I hate it because of the way it handles the vampires, and I hate it for making heroines of stories whiny crying babies that have to be helped that have to be helped by 120 year old vampires crushing on high school girls.

so my answer:

Twilight
Titanic
Anything by Nicholas Sparks lol.

Twilight
Grease
Dirty Dancing
Footloose
The Godfather Trilogy (please. Dullsville. Goodfellas is far more interesting, plus it's based on a true story)
Pretty much anything Tarantino.

Anything with Jennifer Aniston. She is not an actress she play's herself in every movie she does.

LMAO! I couldn't agree more.

Twilight
Sex & The City
Transformers 3
Napoleon Dynamite
Anything with Will Ferell, guy is as funny as a kick in the face
Paranormal Activity, bored me to tears
Drive, even Ryan Gosling couldn't save that
Bridget Jones
Borat
Any film that combines cartoons with real people (Garfield, Alvin & the Chipmunks etc)

"Saw" movies - they are so disturbing - I shudder just thinking about it
I used to love horror movies, but I can't stand Saw, I watched the first one and couldn't bear to watch the other ones. Definitely disturbing!
I actually sat and watch the first Saw on my own and I was so bored by it - kept waiting for the "gore" to start properly, maybe I am slightly sick in the head, if I think that Saw isnt too gory, it amused me more than anything!

Most recently, Bridesmaids.

I probably would have enjoyed it if it hadn't been the 5,000th time I'd seen the same basic thing. This time it was women instead of men, but otherwise it was just like every other silly, raunchy comedy.

Oh, and Hunger Games. It bored the crap out of me.

Kill Bill (all volumes) - really.. what the hell is the story line and how the hell do you keep up?? Same opinion for Sin City...:grumble:

District 9

P.S. I love you.. (I'd just rather see Gerard Butler in a more aggressive fashion!! :blushing: )

Completely agree with Kill Bill movies and Sin City!!!!!

I actually liked District 9. Guess I'm one of the weird people.

No way - I love that movie.
