  • I have a daycare in my home, but would much rather be doing medical transcription/coding - have some education background and work experience in that.

Oh, and I'm a Home and Garden Party Designer. Great way to supplement my daycare income and let's me stay home for my kids!

    1. i work for a company who markets/sells disability and life insurance to school districts. i am the superdupervisor of the marketing department. we focus on broker support and help them every step of the way with their customers - proposals, sales materials, training - the list goes on. i am going on 8 years here...
    2. vp/treasurer of a non-profit (mostly) cat rescue - nbcrtx.org. its like a second full time job with no pay but its totally worth it. started the group in 05, but i have been voluntering since 04.
    3. part time greeter at a VW dealership, saturdays about 9 months out of the year (they are slow during the winter time). i am excited to start back around march and show off my weight loss! this job helps pay off debt and i have been there about 3 years.

busy busy busy. but if i were married and had kiddos i would be just as busy (if not more), just in a different way.

A Rn at the Oklahoma State Health Dept. not as much money as when I was a labor and delivery nurse but with my teenage sons and my 10-ager daughter I needed to be home more. And my husband likes the fact I am home more too.

I'm a restaurant manager/waitress. I have a B.S. in Genetics though... just no jobs! I'm also a nondestructive inspector for the air force reserves, hoping for a full time position on base.

Genetics huh? I just saw a genetic specialist. I have EDS (ehlers danlos syndrom)... You heard of it?

i didn't study that particular disease, but i did study a lot about nondisjunction and all the crazy reasons why children can be born with an extra chromosome, or missing one (such as turner's syndrome where the child is missing a second sex chromosome)

Very cool. Genetics interests me..... :)
