It seems that 114 is the magic number for me right now. I'm okay with that. The next month and a half will be the most challenging for me with parties to host and baking cookies for the kiddies. My 3 worst temptations this time of year are eggnog/alcohol, Wintry Spice Nut Mix, and the CHRISTmas M & M's. I cannot do moderation so my challenge is to stay away from these at all costs.

So I am still at 205, down almost a total of 10 pounds since this started, got my jog in this morning- went 6 miles. But once again I didn't meet my mini goal, beginning to wonder if i set the bar to high with these mini goals. Haven't been able to accomplish a single one on time0 -

newmeat30..... don't be discouraged. You have done so well. I was unable to sleep last night and was up reading yet another health magazine. It was from one our gym chains here. There is an article about the importance of rest days particularly for the elite athelete or those that have reached their goal. I am no where near. But it was interesting. It stated rest days were more important at this stage and many mentally struggle with allowing the body to rest. It starts at having one rest day a week and then one every 3 to 4 days and even building up to 5 rest days in a row. Maybe your body is ready for this. Hang in there. Think of how far you have come.0
