I just made these and they are awesome! I tweaked the recipe a bit. My 'batter' came out more like a thick dough (maybe it was the oats I used? I used the irish steel cut kind), I could hardly even stir it, so I added an extra 1/2 c. pumpkin and 1/2 c. apple sauce to moisten it. I also added about 1/8 c. splenda and an extra 1/2 tsp of both cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice after reading complaints about lack of sweetness/flavor. After my changes, it came to 135 calories, 18g carb, 4g fat, 10g protein, 4g sugar.0

These sound amazing but I'm hesitant to make these since the few people that have actually made them and come back to review them weren't very pleased. And I wouldn't want to waste pumpkin like that!0

I have a batch in the oven now. I added more cinnamon than the recipe called for, along with a combination of nutmeg, allspice, and ground ginger since I don't have pumpkin pie spice. I also added about a tablespoon of maple syrup since others posted that they weren't sweet enough. The batter was extremely wet, which makes me really skeptical that they'll be done in 20 minutes, but we'll see. I topped 6 with some slivered almonds and six with a few chocolate chips.0

Mine turned out pretty well. I definitely want to add more cinnamon next time. The maple syrup added just a touch of sweetness, which was enough for me. I let them bake for 25 minutes, but I probably could have taken them out after 20.
These will be a tasty breakfast treat for the week!0 -
I tried these and they did not turn out well at all....super dry and no taste. Was bummed!
The trash can enjoyed them!0
