    HONEYCRISP! I will be very sad when the Honeycrisp season is over and I have to resort to Gala...

    My husband makes me buy Red Delicious for him. Such a misleading name for an apple.... not delicious at all! :)

    Honey crisp is my favorite. So sweet! I like golden delicious for dipping in peanut butter.

    My absolute favorite apple is the Honeycrisp. It is only around from early September until late November/early December. They have the perfect crispy crunch, juicy and a nice sweet "honey-like" taste.

    but I keep hearing rave reviews about Honeycrisp, so I'd like to try them too.

    However, my apple pies/crisps ALWAYS are a mixture of sweet and tart ones.
    That's my signature dessert @ Thanksgiving.
