    I usually get Gala or Fuji. I buy Honeycrisp when they are on sale. I prefer sweet apples and they MUST be crisp. I do not like soft/mushy apples.

    I had some Cortland apples freshly picked from an orchard and they were delicious too. Sweet but just a little bit tart too, very crisp and very juicy. It reminded me of an apple jolly rancher.

    Granny Smith & Pink Ladies, although this year our grocery store didn't carry Pink Ladies, orchard must have gotten hit or something. They had them last year.
