#1- I have a bachelor's in Health Information Management and RHIA certification, working toward a Masters.

#2- I have an AAS degreen in medical technology and have worked in Blood Banks, Clinical Chemistry, hematology, and microbiology labs with a stint in research and genetics.

#2- Freelance writer, not often but I do sometimes get paid to write.

    #3- Wrestling Coach, some seasons.

I aspire to become knowledgeable enough to be a certified trainer some day, but not until I reach my fitness goals.

Im a fulltime social work student, and a mommy of a 2 year old and a 4 year old, and I work part-time at the YMCA in Kids Care :)
  • From when I could start working till 20 I was in fast food work, was a swing manager (sucked but I actually miss the being busy all the time).
Then I was a stay at home mom.... My husband got hurt at work so now for the last almost 4 yrs I have been an on-site apartment manager for low income tax credit properties (oh the joys:)
On top of mananging apartments I'm a mom to 5 yr old and 9 month old!

I am a secretary/admin assistant for a private investigations firm

Before that, I was the office manager/full charge bookkeeper for a company that designed and manufactured decorative doorbell covers like this (which I helped design):

So, if you ever have heard that song, "Hi, my name is Joe and I work in a button factory..."
Well, I used to work in a (doorbell) button factory... sort of. :)

Mom (& wife) is my only one. I studied physics, then history, in college, and sometimes think of going back for my Master's, possibly going farther. I'm not sure if I'll work when my kids are older, but if so, I think I'll take the Master Gardeners program at my University, and do something in that field, or just volunteer work.

I see some interesting careers on here!
I'm a certified yoga instructor (restorative & bikram) and belly dancer teacher. I'm also a certified Ayurvedic Health Educator. However, I'm going to school for Nutrition and Medical Massage/Physical Therapy. :)

I plan to own a Holistic Wellness Center
Awesome! I love all of the above. :)
  • I'm a Realtor!
    Certified Short Sale Professional CSP
Certified Property Valuator NABPOP (which as of lately has been my main occupation, I drive around and take photos of other people's home - interior/exterior - and then project list and sale prices based on comparables within their neighborhood). It's like an appraisal but can't be called an appraisal because I'm not an appraiser (needing this disclosure......just in case).

I like my job because I'm the boss of me.

  • Currently a student as I'm still in school, and if everything goes to plan next year I'll be going to Uni to study towards becoming a Paediatric Nurse. Ask me again in 4 years what my career is, and I hope that I'm able to say a children's nurse!

I'm a small school teacher aide. I work IN the classroom with one class only, dedicating my time to a few kids who struggle with learning for a host of reasons. :) It's so rewarding.

Glad to see that i'm not the only one here. Going to school for a Bachelors in Computer Science. Not sure whether I really want to spend the rest of my working life programming though.

Oh believe me, you're not the only one.
