    I'm 5'6 1/2
    SW: 220 December 2010 - was down to 183 in June this year
    CW: 195 :(
    GW: 165

    I'm striving to lost about 1 1/2 lbs a week, and consume no more than 1400 calories per day
    lightly active at work, but I play sports 2-3 times a week and try to hit the gym 2-3 per week as well.

    Hoping that counting my calories again will keep me on track and find some motivation on here :)

    I would like to know what other women my approx size/weight eat as far as calories. I weigh once a day - first thing in the morning, and yet my weight fluctuates like 2-5 lbs in any given week. Not sure why?? I can be 166 for a week, then bam, down to 162.
    Is anyone brave enough to share with me?? :wink:
    I am 163 lbs, 5'6".
    Activity: lightly active
    Goal: 1 lb/week loss
    Calories: 1490 net.
    water: i usually hit 8 or more.

    Yours sound really similar to mine. I was at 1450 calories for a long time (I started at 170), but when I hit 157 or so, I got 50 of my calories taken away! Ahhh!!! So now I am at an even 1400... I don't know how long it will last. But it really pulled me out of plateau! I am so looking forward to the day when I can change my goal to maintenance!

  • Right now I'm at 1200 but I'll probably up it when I gain muscle/ lose inches.

    5'6' and 180lbs.
    I lost 15lbs in 9 weeks by doing nothing which was surprising.

    Today I'm under that goal by around 290 cals. Not much healthy food at home today sadly.

    I am 5'6" also, currently at 182...I'm aiming for 135lbs right now but it's not definite. I have a look that I want and I'll know I've hit my goal when I get there!

    My calorie goal is 1200 without exercise and I try to workout 6 days a week and eat back a good portion of my exercise calories. I try not to be too much under a net of 1200.

    5'6. I started at 168, currently hovering around 160.

    When I was in the upper 160's my goal was about 1450, before excercise calories. It's now 1350.

    I want to get down to 140, which should be in the middle of our normal BMI range for our height.

    **EDIT** I should note, that I am not, and will probably never be a "slender build" I'm definitely athletic or medium.

    I began at 303lbs... Im currently 236.6lbs, I am 5'6.5"
    Activity: very active
    Goal: 2 lb/week loss
    Calories: Per doctor, no more than 1600 calories per day, ok to sustain 1000 calories due to my line of work
    water: I carry a 64 oz container that looks like a beer-keg! LOL I drink three of those daily - definitely due to my line of work...
