I'm 5'4", large chested (38F), little too much in the tummy area due to having both of my children be 8 lbs 8 oz at birth and being very large in my pregnancies. I've lost about 29 lbs since the end of July. Let's see if my pics show. I'm halfway to my goal!!!

I'm 5'1' and was 11.5 stone ( 161lbs ) and 'how low do you go' is a toughie!

Using BMI charts a healthy weight range for my height would be 7.5 stone to 9.5 stone ( 105lb to 133lb)

I used a chart to check out my frame size ( uses measurement of the width between wrist bones ) and I come out as a medium frame........so I'm just heading for the mid range 8.5 stone (119 lbs)

    ..then I'll post before/after pics ..... 7 lb's to go!

I'm 5'3", I was 155lbs and I weigh 128 now. I'm trying to get back down to 115lbs but that was when I could go to the gym and work out 2 hours a day, lol. I will settle for 120 though, so about 8lbs to go! :) Everyone's body is different though so just find something that is a happy weight for you :) Good luck!

I'm 5'3 and my goal weight is 130. But I'd like to see how it looks and if all the lumpy bumps smooth out. I want to keep my curves, I'm a bit of an hourglass shape with small waist and big hips but I have a chest, too. My lowest weight as an adult was 142 and I thought I looked pretty good, just needed the hip and lower belly a little smoother. I don't mind being thick if I look more solid. I'm aiming for a size 6 more than a weight. I will see when I get there. And BMI's are different for age and frame size. For me, 140 is still in the healthy range but I'm 34. I know another poster said for her it said 140 was overweight.

Hopefully I'll be posting before and after pics later! I just took my "before" pics and measurements, although I've lost 5 pounds since my real start a week ago.

    This is so inspiring ^^

Thanks for all the pics! You ladies are such an inspiration! I am 5'4 and 220 obser. I have my final goal set for 125 but I'm sure I will probably stop before then because I have always carried my weight well and when I was in my 140's I looked much smaller. I don't want to get to skinny!! :):) I am very pear shaped so my hips are where I have alot of my weight! I hope to be able to post success pics up here one day! Feel free to.send me a friend request! I think its great that we support each other! :)

just wanted to say thanks to all who bumped this thread so we could see it in January :) I'm 5'3 just starting out... my first (really big) goal is 100lbs gone, then I'll go from there... I have never been slim so have a hard time even visualizing myself that way, which I'm told can be a big step towards actually reaching those goals! All your photos are helping me visualize- thanks!

I'm 5'2 and my doctor said anywhere between 120 and 140 would be a good range for me, so I am aiming for 130 pounds.

My heaviest 3/26/2007 @ 263 lbs. (Day of Gastric Bypass)

Most recent full body 3/26/2011 @ 173 lbs.

  • My goal is 140. I started at 170 and I am currently at 158. I have been 140 before and have felt amazing at that weight. I have a hour glass figure and like to stay a bit curvier. I don't carry off super thin well. I have before and during photos on my profile photos if you want to sneak peek. It's amazing what 12 pounds has done.
