To me, nothings screams, "Don't hire me" more than piercing and gapping stuff above the neck.

I'm sure my American friends see some WAY crazier stuff than we do in the great white north but ... :noway: often times I find myself saying, "Really? You're THAT desperate for attention?"

    I have ear piercings (lobes + one other) and I can cover it with my hair.

    Fads I hope pass before my kids are old enough (....and considering I don't have kids, this will be in a few decades! HA) ... UGGS. I think they will forever be mocked by future generations.

    Not everyone does it for attention.
    I would say a huge chunk of people do.

    But for myself, I am personally very vain. I want to love the way I look, damn anyone else.
    It's art for me and a way to express myself.... tattoos and gauges that is.[no neck tats here tho!] Hah

    But I do agree that most people who are younger do things for the wrong reasons
