    I have gotten used to glasses been wearing them since 5th grade. I'm a sucker for plastic frames, on myself. My husband said the fact that I wore glasses in high school, is what attracted him to me, cause he thinks chicks with glasses are hott and loves the librarian look.

    I've thought about getting lasik in the past. I just wanna see that alarm clock in the morning w/o them, but I do love to rock the glasses!

I left question 12.5 standing, because it seems to me like you are suggesting that a nerd can only be nerdy if it comes with heaps and bouts of self-doubt and low confidence. Are you serious? I smile at people. I'm open and friendly and easy to approach. I don't expect the worst, I'm not hostile. Do you want to hear MY sob story about how I was a misunderstood nerdy girl with glasses who always did my homework and was bullied? Do you REALLY think, past 18, that anyone ****ing cares?

    Grow up.

    Oh, and the term "nerd" doesn't belong to you.

    I realize that the above questions apply to a specific niche of nerd-dom, and I couldn't really care less whether anyone takes the time to answer them. I guess the point that I'm trying to make is that a pretty girl in glasses does not a nerd make. I've been a nerd in glasses for most of my life, and it's earned me nothing but scorn and ridicule from men and women alike, but mainly from men. Stop being hypocrites and just tell the truth: you like hot chicks in glasses. Sheesh.

    I've had glasses since fourth grade and I'm getting Lasik surgery soon. I'll always be a nerd though. I'm a freaking librarian... doesn't get much nerdier than that, eh?

    When I was younger I pretended to have bad vision so my parents would get me glasses. They saw right through it.
    Now! I actually need glasses! I think I was the only person who was happy the day they had to squint at the board at school and realized that they day FINALLY came where I could wear glasses!
