    Okay, it has been 8 hours since anyone wrote in our thread. :noway: :angry: You guys should be ashamed of yourselves!

    Rach - I've been there and it really does weigh on you. I'll keep you guys in my thoughts and prayers! It's hard, but it really makes you appreciate every little thing.

    We had a V-Day Social @ work today and I ate a bit too much. :blushing: Well... that's what it feels like, anyway, even though I really didn't pile my plate. I worked out - but only for 15 minutes, because that's how much time I had left on my break. My bf and I are going to get some reptile food and supplies tonight, then grabbing some dinner (maybe not, in my case. :sick:) and I hope to get to the gym again after that. Then... in the morning, I'm going to do my Leslie Sansone Walk Slim video (all 4 miles for the first time!) and then grab an early lunch with a couple friends (my bf has to work).

    How are you guys doing?? What are your Valentine's Day plans?? :heart:

    Hey thanks!! I figured it was time for a change! :blushing:

    I was here earlier today but I figured I'd wait until after I worked out so that I'd have something to talk about!! I did week 5 day 1 (yes, I'm repeating week 5) of my push up challenge & then I did the treadmill until I burned 555 calories!! Yahoo!!
    I know that this may sound crazy but I'm finding that I have too many calories left over these last couple of days!! I've really been upping my workouts & as of tonight, after dinner, I have over 800 calories left!! I could easily make them up with some chocolate or somthing but, to do it healthily is a real challenge!!
    I think that Imay have to add in a baked potato half way through the day or something. Tonight I'm planning on whole grain toast with peanut butter, that should use up close to 300 or so, maybe add in a glass of milk. Maybe I should make it two pieces of toast...
    I didn't eat any almonds yet today so maybe I'll snack on them a bit later. This new way of life really takes some planning!!

    On another note.. I'm getting sick!! So tomorrow will probably end up being a rest/sick day & then I'll have the opposite problem!! LOL!!

    It never ends!!

    Alright ladies I was one busy women again today. So that is the reason I haven't been on. I went and bought BL power sculpt and did it and I don't feel it right now but Im sure I will feel it tomorrow. I also did some wii fit hula hoop and some other stuff. I totally burned 750 calories. 3.gif I will be on here tomorrow for sure. Talk to everyone soon. Have a great friday night.

    Alright so I just got done working out for my normal time plus 10 additional mins just like I wanted to do with my goal. I burned 910 calories. 7.gif my husband is bringing home pizza and an ice cream cake so yummy and I can eat some since I did all that workout stuff. 9.gif

    Hey everyone - I just got Jillian's new DVD's in the mail today so I had to check at least one of them out. I was going to do them both but after the one (the cardio fat burning one) I decided that was enough for today. Kicked my butt. But I only burned 310 calories after 55 minutes according to my HRM.

    I'm soooo jealous of J-g4ever. How do you burn so much???

    Ya, j_g, how do you burn so much??? I'm with you jenn, after I use a dvd I usually have to jump on the treadmill to get anywhere near 500 & let me tell you, I am working & sweating really hard!! It usually takes me an additional 15-20 minutes!

    So, I am sick today!! Bleuh!! But I did manage to get some cleaning done so at least that's something to put in my exercise diary!!

    I've been reading Bob Harper's book, Are You Ready it's really a great book! He talks about fixing the Inner Compass & your need to accept who you are right now & being able to forgive yourself. It's really a great read! I recommend it!

    I think that my HRM is wrong I posted a topic on it but noone responded. I don't know if I should recheck something or whatever. But you know when I see that number and :noway: but i still take it. I don't try to eat all of those calories because just incase its wrong.

    I'm still sick but I'm still eating "clean" & I'm hoping to do a little bit on the treadmill a bit later! It'll be very low impact mind you, but I feel the need to do something!!

    We have just a few more days before our weigh in!!

    I have a Timex Ironman. I don't know if i should re-check my max heart rate or what is going on. It looks good to see those numbers but I'm seeing other people with lower numbers and I wonder. :grumble:

    It's been a cruddy weekend, but I'm back on track. Getting up at 5am tomorrow to do Legs & Back and Abs, then doing Kenpo after work. I need to get caught up and back on my schedule.

    How are you all doing?

    I'm not good...Bad weekend, no exercise or proper eating. I'm really down and have been crying and sad. I have health issues that worry me and the only thing I was in control of was this part of my life. And now, I've lost it. No motivation to exercise, bring on the crap. :sad: :sad: I need to get back my mojo...:cry:

    Ya, I wonder... I know that you mentioned that you'd like to be losing more weight faster. My thought is that if your Ironman is off it could be really throwing off your calorie count for the day! I'd seriously look into it!
    I know that my treadmill gives me an extra 100 calories burned compared to what my Polar hrm tells me!! So, now I definately go with the Polar - and it was hard because after 40 minutes of hard work, my burn was only about 350!!! But, I'd rather be accurate & eat what I should!
    Let me know how things work out!

    Hey there everyone! I am back from the world of travelling with work. I am still tired. Slept most of the day on Valentines but then woke up from my long nap and cooked lobster tails for my honey! We were going to go out but I was too tired. Feeling better after resting.

    I am so excited to report that I've hit the 50 pound mark so I reward myself with spending 50 on an Ipod shuffle to use while working out at fitness center or on the running trail.

    I used our Gazelle yesterday - I really don't like it but it had me sweating good so I guess it was working.

    Today is fitness center...

    Hey there everyone.... sorry wasnt on during the weekend. Just kind of been busy. I finally get done with basketball and now its time for little league LOL. I stay busy I guess.

    Does anyone on here use facebook. I signed up last night and so far I like it. My sister in law sent me an invite and she is addicted she says and she has only been on there for a week. I have been playing mafia wars on it.

    Happy belated Valentine's Day!

    I haven't had time to *think* this past weekend! Things have been so busy. My bf has been working out of town (not too far), so each evening, I've been driving to go have dinner with him and meet some friends that live out that way. It's been pretty neat. He's building a 14 ft. cage for a guy for his snakes! It's going to have eight separate cages inside it, but it's just a huge shell right now.

    I've been scheduling snacks so I'm not that hungry when we have dinner and I've been requesting healthy places, but the other night he took me to chinese!! :angry: I was so mad. I told him that we were supposed to go somewhere else and I had already planned everything out so I wouldn't eat too much... but he knows I can't resist chinese. :frown: Luckily, it wasn't that good... so I didn't eat a lot. But, the sodium...... :cry: Oh well.

    At least he paid. :bigsmile: :laugh:

    I worked out on Saturday, skipped Sunday and am going to workout today after my doctor's appointment at 3:30. I did a blood screening @ work and found out that my sugar is a *little* high (this was fasting), my good cholesterol is a *little* low and there's something going on with my thyroid. Diabetes and thyroid problems run in the family, so I figured I'd better get it checked out!!

    lcorrell - I had my thyroid checked a couple months back and my doc said I had hypothyroidism. They sent me to a specialist and after all the money spent and tests done HE tells me I'm about normal. He wants me to see him every 6 months to make sure it stays that way, but I said no thanks. I'll come back if I start seeing symptoms. I don't have all that money to give away for people to tell me everythings normal. :huh: :laugh:


    I don't know what my deal is today, but it seems like everyone and everything is getting on my nerves! More than usual at least. :laugh: Just random snotty comments I overhear or someone's bad attitude, just causes me to completely snap in my head. Like I just feel like screaming at people! I guess I'm just overwhelmed with how inconsiderate, obnoxious, and impatient people are. :explode: :embarassed: :laugh:

    Anyway. At least I feel pretty today! :smooched: I actually took the time to do my makeup this morning and I just feel good. Normally its a little foundation (cuz my face turns bright red all the time, so I try to mask it :blushing: ) and a little mascara and I'm out the door. Maybe I should take the extra few minutes more often.

I have about three totes that are going to the salvation army. My kids had and have WAY to many clothes. I have been sticking to my calorie count even on valentines day. :drinker: I plan on working out later tonight with my husband and then doing the wii fit for about 10 mins.     What size are the girl clothes. My girl is 19 mths old now and i will be needing summer clothes for her. Im waiting on garage sale season again. I usually try to buy then because they jsut grow so much.

    I just got done with my 30 day shred. I can't do my extra 10 mins today im feeling too stressed and seizure might happen otherwise. I pre-weighed myself yesterday and here is hoping it stays at that or lower because I would be one happy girl. :flowerforyou:

    I had some Chinese too last week! It had been a long while since we had been to my favorite restaraunt! But, I preplanned everything & logged it beforehand! It was great to be able to eat in such a way that I felt that I was in control, which can be hard at a buffet! It was also nice not to feel so full & puffed up that I would regret the meal & feel only guilt!

    That snake cage thing sounds crazy/cool!! I hope that it has a good latch!!

    I hope that things go well with your tests. Have they decided how they'll tread you??
